Politicians and political analysts in Australia like to call Australian democracy (and Western democracy in general) as “participatory democracy”. The term wants to say that “if you participate in the processes, your voice will be heard. If you do not participate, you will be ignored”.
I will not try to discuss how deceptive this term is, as the democracy in real term should mean to listen and represent every citizen not only the ones who have certain capabilities and expertise. The term “participatory democracy” would indeed refute any claim of politicians to represent constituents, if they listen only to “active members” of the society.
So in reality, our democracy is democracy for “big mouths”. So if you keep whinging and making big lies loudly and publicly, they will listen to you. Even if you represent no one. And to silence you and win you to their side, they will give you some bribes in form of “grants and community funding”.
All this comes with big risks. Mostly opportunists will exercise this kind of democracy. This will mean that media and authorities will listen to the wrong people, reward wrong people and try to consult wrong people. This will result in resources being wasted and stories will be reported wrongly.
Let me give some examples.
Among Muslim communities, few extremists and few opportunists came forward for the last few decades and started to shout foul about Islamophobia and about “ignoring of Muslims’ interests and needs”. Consequently, government, opposition parties, security agencies, media and other authorities actively tried to appease these “big mouths” by engaging them and give them prominence they do not deserve and do not have in the communities.
For the last decades, the Lebanese Moslem Association was claiming day and night that they represent ALL Muslims. They were on the frontline demanding engaging its officials, as sign of engaging Muslims. And they were given a lot of prominence they do not deserve and have no right to claim.
From its name, Lebanese Moslem Association should not claim to represent Non-Lebanese Moslems (who are the overwhelming majority of Muslims). It also cannot represent Non-Sunni Lebanese (many indications point to the fact that LMA does not recognise non-Sunnis to be Muslims at all). So, if we exclude Non-Lebanese Sunnis, and Non-Sunni Lebanese, who does the LMA really represent?
So what are the risks with this “big-mouth” democracy?
Lebanese Moslem Association was representing extreme version of Islam in the last 2 or 3 decades. By claiming to represent ALL Muslims, it is very easy for the racists and Islamophobes to step up their Anti-Muslim campaigns by saying “Listen to the Muslims’ representatives what they say about this and that”.
Also, by authorities accepting that LMA represents Muslims in this country, they will consult only them and engage with them and so claim later that “everything is ok, we listened to Muslims and we have acted”.
This is what was happening in this country for the last few decades. Few fake organisations who are mainly follow and adopt extreme version of Islam were on the frontline trying to represent the Muslims. And this was one of the main reasons we have currently high radicalisation and high Islamophobia.
Some can argue that “we understand the argument about LMA and “big mouth democracy” causing high Islamophobia, but how they caused high radicalisation?”
The answer is very simple. Imagine that ordinary Muslim is hearing day after day from media and authorities that LMA and other extreme organisation represent Islam and Muslims. And at the same time, he/she is listening during Friday ceremonies and media speeches by LMA (and other extreme groups) representatives vending all kinds of extreme preaching and messages? Of course they will start to believe that this is the real Islam. So the brainwashing and recruitment will be easier.
When an ordinary Muslim hears from our authorities and media that LMA represents ALL Muslims. And LMA confirmed this lies. Then listens to the LMA religious spokesperson’s fatwa against saying “Merry Christmas” to Christians. Would not he start to believe that this is the real Islam?
And what did the government do to discipline these extremist groups?
After all extreme activities by LMA, government granted the organisation more than $2,750,000.00 to spread “harmony in the society” and to “empower marginalised religious and ethnic groups”.
Some of the tax-payers money was spent on broadcasting lectures of extremists and terrorists which lead to brainwash more Muslims and urge them to join terrorist groups like Al Qaeda.
Then our authorities did not stop on this. As LMA could have successfully deceived ALL political parties and authorities that they represent ALL Muslims in this country, governments started to compete who will grant LMA with more money (public bribes in the name of public funding for community projects) to win the Muslims votes that LMA supposedly controls.
Since mid 2011 until mid 2014, LMA was active in brainwashing Muslim youths under the banner of “supporting Syrian revolution”. Every Friday prayer ceremony will be focussed on Syrian “revolution” and the needs for community members to do all they can to support the “mujahedeen” (we discovered later that these mujahedeen are in fact AL Qaeda and ISIS terrorists). LMA was very active in supporting activities and fundraising to Syrian “revolution”. LMA was active in organising “tributes for fallen mujahideen (including killed terrorist Mustapha AL Majzoub)”.
With this track history of participating in brainwashing our youth, recently we learnt that the government has granted LMA money to “Share Humanity” as part of government’s “de-radicalisation plan”. What kind of humanity they can share by issuing fatwa against Christmas, paying respect and tribute to killed terrorists and in broadcasting lectures of extremists and terrorists?
I am shocked. And I am sure many of you are shocked too. But others are not only shocked. They used this to prove that ALL Muslims support terrorism.
What makes things worse is that our authorities actually support some part of “big mouth” democracy, but they do not support other parts.
When many of community members exercised their right to participate in “big mouth” democracy, the authorities were quick to ask them to keep silent. When early in 2012 some Muslims tried to say “not in our name” in their opposition to the so-called Syrian revolution, authorities and media either ignored the attacks on them or directly asked them to be silent for their “safety”.
So, it seems that the best description of our democracy is “friendly big mouths democracy”.
By the way, I need to mention here that after the death of prophet Mohamed, Muslims were never united but by sword with rivers of blood. How could anyone believe that Samier Danden and his LMA have more convincing power to unite ALL Muslims, than all Muslim leaders had in the last 15 centuries?
Not in my name. Not as Muslim. And not as Australian.
It is our job to recover our hijacked democracy.

The deadly consequenes of leniency with child accused of terrorism
We are deeply worried about the signs of leniency shown by our legal system in dealing with dangerous terrorist only because he is less than 18 years old. This leniency could have dangerous consequences:
1- It will undermine the efforts of our security agencies in foiling dangerous attempts to conduct terrorist activities.
2- It could soften public opinion about the seriousness of his crimes.
3- It will overlook the needed action on investigation and taking actions against the responsible organizations for brainwashing and recruiting children to carry on such horrendous crimes.
4- It overlooks the responsibility of the child family on his radicalisation to the point of allegedly planning to conduct terrorist activity using bombs.
5- The most important deadly consequence is the fact that any leniency in dealing with this alleged terrorist because of his age could lead to wave of imminent terrorist activities carried on by children, even younger than 17.
It is well documented that the international pressure on Syrian and Iraqi governments and accusing them of targeting civilians and kids had resulted in Syrian and Iraqi authorities lenient dealing with children. This had resulted in the terrorist organizations recruiting and sending children to conduct most dangerous terrorist activities because they knew that they will escape security surveillance.
In Syria and Iraq, almost all snipers and spies for terrorist organizations are "children"... mainly under 15.... And the terrorist organizations could exploit a lot of public opinion to condemn the Syrian and Iraqi army for targeting and killing “children”, when in fact they were terrorists.
It is also deeply concerning that until now no debate about who brainwashed, trained and recruited these kids. This lack of debate and authorities’ proper actions had allowed the extremist organizations (including Islamic schools, centres and mosques) to escape any accountability and actions to stop them.
One eyewitness to the well reported event of auctioning the ISIS flag by Markaz Imam Ahmad told us that the majority of audience was children under 16. The eyewitness and his brothers who were present on the event were 16, 14 and 10. Until now, no actions were taken against this centre of extremism. Many of the “graduates” of this centre were killed recently in Syria fighting with terrorists. One of them was Mahmoud Abdul Salam.
Any leniency in dealing with children-terrorists will have deadly consequences. We strongly encourage Australian authorities to consult on this issue with Syrian and Iraqi authorities.

On local extremism: I was right form the beggining
The news about Australian doctor joining terrorist organisations in Syria is another evidence of our authorities’ failure to stop radicalisation in our society. While we do not know the time this doctor left Australia, the fact that he was brainwashed from womaniser and alcohol drinker to hardline terrorist should raise many questions.
Where were our authorities from the intense brainwashing and recruitment efforts of organisations and individuals? Why authorities had ignored many warnings from different community leaders and organisations, including myself, for long time about the intense campaigns to radicalise and recruit our youths?
The major question here is: what is the holistic plan that our authorities had adopted to stop further radicalisation of our youth?
We are sorry to come to realisation that authorities are busy dealing with symptoms, rather than dealing with the source of these symptoms. The authorities proved to be either lucky or successful in stopping and foiling many terrorist activities. But they are far behind in starting real comprehensive de-radicalisation plan.
As experts on this issue, the authorities’ refusal to discuss with us our de-radicalisation plan, refusal to fund some of our proposed projects to deal with this radicalisation and refusal to consult us of the plan they suggest is deeply worrying.
The news about authorities’ continuous interception of extremists in our airports bound to Syria, news about more Australians participation in the fight in Syria and the news of relations between terrorists fighting in Syria and centres based in Australia are clear evidence of the failure of our authorities approach to the issue.
All these news, in addition to news of closing down of centres of extremism (the latest was AL Furqan) is a moral boost for our anti-extremism campaign. The campaign that started February 2012. The campaign that is getting momentum every day.
While we still receive many threatening messages form extremists, we are receiving a lot of supporting and encouraging messages. Both kind of messages are clear evidence of the effectiveness of our campaign.

The faction war that cost Christine Milne her job
Without any warning, Bob Brown announced at the begging of April 2012 his resignation as Greens leader. In very similar way and without any warning, Christine Milne tendered her resignation as Greens leader. In addition to the total secrecy and lack of any warning, both leaders resigned months before Federal election.
Then the Greens officials want you to think that this is normal procedure within normal mainstream political party.
What the Greens officials are keen to hide from everyone, including the party ordinary members, is the factional war that was brewing for the last 2 decades inside the party.
Before exploring the reality of what happened today, I need to dissect the reality of power balance inside the Greens party.
The Greens party was established more than 40 years ago by socially conservative environmentalists who cared principally about the attack on our ecological system. The first generation of Greens activists and later on politicians were pure environmentalists who did not care for one second about any of the social-justice issues.
These environmentalists could not achieve much in term of convincing voters to vote for them. Until 2000, the support for the Greens party was less than 2.5% nationally. Without the high support in Tasmania and WA, this popularity indeed was less than 1.5%.
The Greens membership changed slightly after 2 major national and international events:
1- The collapse of the Soviet Union, which saw large numbers of Australian communists lost their platform and direction. They thought that the Greens party is the best for them to prolong their political activities and ambitions for political careers. This is where Lee Rhiannon, Sylvia Hale and others came from.
2- The start of collapse of the Australian Democrats after their hold of “balance of power” during Howard conservative government. Again, the Greens party was the only established party during this period, so it attracted the majority of members and supporters of the Democrats.
3- In addition to the above, the Labor continued in very aggressive way to creep towards the right which convinced many progressive people to join and vote for the Greens, after they lost any hope from Labor.
So the Greens membership comprised mesh-mash of all kind of people feeling hopelessness: hopelessness after the collapse of Soviet Union, hopelessness of the Democrats, hopelessness from Labor and new migrants who arrived to this country and faced by hopeless political system.
It is very safe to claim that the Greens party flourished on hopelessness. Apart from environmentalists, no Greens party member joined or voted for the Greens because they genuinely believe in the Greens platform or genuinity.
Such atmosphere of total hopelessness of political system resulted in the Greens party to rise on the hands of pure opportunists and political careerists, who has no ideology of principles.
This is why you can see all the contradictions and extreme inside the Greens party: Islamophobes and anti-religions atheists defending ISIS and Muslims, white racists defending multiculturalism, Masonic rich defending and representing the poor, Zionists claim to support Palestinian rights and racists who never met Non-English speaking migrant call for refugees rights.
This cocktail of paradoxes resulted in extreme factions fighting each other silently behind closed doors. And this is why resignation of leaders came with no warnings. Election of new leaders happens suddenly. Criticism is not allowed. No public understanding of what is happening inside the party. The party in fact is living behind “iron curtain” of total secrecy.
This is why the few comments by Chris Harris recently was found to be even shocking, by public and by ordinary members of the Greens. And this is why Chris Harris used my earlier description of what is happening inside the Greens to be similar to Animal Farm.
The Greens factions are:
1- Environmental faction: losing grip of power inside the Greens and this is why we saw Bob and Christine enforced to resign.
2- Ex-Stalinist opportunists: and these are fading too. Sylvia Hale gone, and soon Lee Rhiannon will follow.
3- Pure opportunist political careerists: and this is the majority inside the Greens now. They have no principles and no ethics. Most important for them is to win votes and continue their career. These are the majority of Greens politicians and officials.
The fight between factions started by Lee Rhiannon ex-Stalinists faction. They conducted vicious attacks on environmentalists to destabilise their historical grip on power inside the party. For Lee Rhiannon faction this was the only way to pave the road for change of leadership to their benefit. In doing this, they recruited and counted on pure opportunist careerists. These in turn, used the fight between the two factions to climb to top jobs, as a compromise between the two powerful established factions.
This is why Chris Harris and other “old guards” who joined the Greens for some kind of principles or agenda wrote very pessimistic posts about the result of the factions’ war.
Chris Harris admits (and agreed with my writings on the issue for the last ten years) that the Greens party is in fact a “Party about Nothing”.
The sacking of Christine Milne is the last straw of environmentalists reign on power inside the Greens....
Welcome to total opportunist Greens party.... No principles and no ethics... No agendas and no defined platforms.
Final note here: the Greens party is extremely lucky (for the hundred time in the last two decades). Despite the total chaos inside the Greens party and the exposure of its opportunism and lack of principles, there is no alternative party to inherit the votes of disgruntled progressive people of Australia. This is why it seems that the Greens will continue to get around %8 of the votes, until new progressive alternative political party formed.

The devastating consequence of Labor alliance with extremists...
It is well known that Australian (and Western) democracy is described as “participatory democracy”. This means that the loudest will be more represented in decision making than the more shy ones.
Recently, I was told by Labor party insider that John Robertson and other officials and faction leaders were made to believe that the key to Labor success in the next NSW election will be in the party’s alliance with Lebanese Moslem Association (LMA). Such believe that lead John Robertson to allow parachuting of a Lebanese-background Muslim into the seat of Lakemba. The same belief could see another Lebanese-background Muslim run in another seat, despite the many indications that he run illegal preselection campaign based on branch-stacking and behind-doors lobbying about the need to allow him to run in that seat because of his endorsement by Lebanese Moslem Association.
If this is true (and most likely it is), John Robertson is either fool or very desperate.
Let us talk facts and numbers on the claim by LMA for the last decade that they control the votes of Muslims in the state.
As according to Wikipedia, the official numbers of Muslims in the state indicates that we constitute 3.4% of the NSW population. Less than 15% are Lebanese-background. Some of these Muslims are Shia, Alawi and Sufi. This leaves Lebanese-background Sunni Muslims counts less than 10% of NSW population. Among these, large section does not recognise Lebanese Moslem Association to represent them. Large section of Lebanese-background Muslims are Ahbash, secular, Sufis and Wahhabis.
In addition to all above, the Lebanese-background Muslims formed many organisations based on the village they came from originally. There are tens of organisations that do not recognise Lebanese Moslem Association to represent their members: Al Minia, Al Mina, Bhanin, Muryatah, Al Arqoub associations among some of these dozen organisations.
Apart from these numbers and facts, we can mention dozens of other facts to prove that Lebanese Moslem Association cannot affect more than handful of voters to vote the way it wishes.
In 2011 NSW election, the Lebanese Moslem Association declared that it will back Liberal candidates in all areas it claimed of having influence. This includes seats of Canterbury, Lakemba, Bankstown, Auburn and Granville.
Yes, Labor suffered big swing in these seats, but it was not because of Lebanese Moslem Association’s campaign. The Labor suffered swing against it in Lakemba and Auburn of about -20%. In Bankstown, Canterbury and Granville it suffered swing against its candidates of around -10%.
The Lebanese Moslem Association immediately jumped to conclude that it was behind this swing.
Well, looking at results in that election gives clear indication that LMA was lying.
Labor suffered in the seat of Bathurst of swing against it of more than
-36%. And this seat has minimal Muslim votes. Even in seats like Camden, Charlestown, Drummoyne, Heathcote, Miranda, Menai, Mulgoa, Parramatta, Riverstone and Smithfield, Labor suffered big swing against its candidates of more than -22 - -30%. And all these seats have minimal Muslim votes and Lebanese Moslem Association claimed no responsibility for the Labor electoral bloodbath.
The Indian-background (and most of them are not Muslims) did not send John Robertson a letter claiming that they cost his party victory in 2011 election, despite having numbers to unseat at least 2 Labor MPs at that election.
The Lebanese Moslem Association convinced the so-called Mufti of Australia to participate with them in the biggest deception campaign in the state history. He also sent a letter to Labor leadership claiming that he was behind the survival of Labor candidates in seats of Blaxland, Watson and other seats with large Muslim votes by directing Muslim voters to stick with Labor in 2013 Federal election. All this despite the fact that more than 90% of Australian Muslims do not know the name of this mysterious Mufti. And this Mufti could not tell Labor why they lost seats of Reid and Banks for the first time since federation, despite Mufti’s claim of intervention.
The politics in Australia became more of a joke.

Recently, I was told by Labor party insider that John Robertson and other officials and faction leaders were made to believe that the key to Labor success in the next NSW election will be in the party’s alliance with Lebanese Moslem Association (LMA). Such believe that lead John Robertson to allow parachuting of a Lebanese-background Muslim into the seat of Lakemba. The same belief could see another Lebanese-background Muslim run in another seat, despite the many indications that he run illegal preselection campaign based on branch-stacking and behind-doors lobbying about the need to allow him to run in that seat because of his endorsement by Lebanese Moslem Association.
If this is true (and most likely it is), John Robertson is either fool or very desperate.
Let us talk facts and numbers on the claim by LMA for the last decade that they control the votes of Muslims in the state.
As according to Wikipedia, the official numbers of Muslims in the state indicates that we constitute 3.4% of the NSW population. Less than 15% are Lebanese-background. Some of these Muslims are Shia, Alawi and Sufi. This leaves Lebanese-background Sunni Muslims counts less than 10% of NSW population. Among these, large section does not recognise Lebanese Moslem Association to represent them. Large section of Lebanese-background Muslims are Ahbash, secular, Sufis and Wahhabis.
In addition to all above, the Lebanese-background Muslims formed many organisations based on the village they came from originally. There are tens of organisations that do not recognise Lebanese Moslem Association to represent their members: Al Minia, Al Mina, Bhanin, Muryatah, Al Arqoub associations among some of these dozen organisations.
Apart from these numbers and facts, we can mention dozens of other facts to prove that Lebanese Moslem Association cannot affect more than handful of voters to vote the way it wishes.
In 2011 NSW election, the Lebanese Moslem Association declared that it will back Liberal candidates in all areas it claimed of having influence. This includes seats of Canterbury, Lakemba, Bankstown, Auburn and Granville.
Yes, Labor suffered big swing in these seats, but it was not because of Lebanese Moslem Association’s campaign. The Labor suffered swing against it in Lakemba and Auburn of about -20%. In Bankstown, Canterbury and Granville it suffered swing against its candidates of around -10%.
The Lebanese Moslem Association immediately jumped to conclude that it was behind this swing.
Well, looking at results in that election gives clear indication that LMA was lying.
Labor suffered in the seat of Bathurst of swing against it of more than
-36%. And this seat has minimal Muslim votes. Even in seats like Camden, Charlestown, Drummoyne, Heathcote, Miranda, Menai, Mulgoa, Parramatta, Riverstone and Smithfield, Labor suffered big swing against its candidates of more than -22 - -30%. And all these seats have minimal Muslim votes and Lebanese Moslem Association claimed no responsibility for the Labor electoral bloodbath.
The Indian-background (and most of them are not Muslims) did not send John Robertson a letter claiming that they cost his party victory in 2011 election, despite having numbers to unseat at least 2 Labor MPs at that election.
The Lebanese Moslem Association convinced the so-called Mufti of Australia to participate with them in the biggest deception campaign in the state history. He also sent a letter to Labor leadership claiming that he was behind the survival of Labor candidates in seats of Blaxland, Watson and other seats with large Muslim votes by directing Muslim voters to stick with Labor in 2013 Federal election. All this despite the fact that more than 90% of Australian Muslims do not know the name of this mysterious Mufti. After years of systematic radicalisation: extremists infiltrate our political system...!!
I thought that the 4 Corners program broadcasted 5 November 2014 will spark intense debate and prompt all authorities to search for answers and take quick decisive actions (you can watch the program here http://www.abc.net.au/4corners/stories/2014/11/03/4118289.htm). Despite the fact that the program producers seem not to understand fully the implications of what they revealed, but I thought that other authorities would have taken notice and acted quickly.
The program revealed beyond any doubt the deep relations between the convicted terrorist Khalid Sharrouf and officials of CFMEU, the largest union in Australia and the largest donor and supporter of Labor party (and to lesser extent of Greens party too). The program did not go further in answering questions that would become natural response to these revelations. Questions like:
- Did Khalid Sharrouf’s dealing with CFMEU was individual initiative or part of larger project of close relations with extremist groups in Australia?
- Who introduced Khalid Sharrouf (and most likely his well-organised network of extremist groups) to the CFMEU?
- What promises did convince the CFMEU to deal with convicted terrorist (and his network of extremists)? And what was the full deal between 2 sides?
I will try to answer some of these questions later, after giving some background to the beginning of the relationship.
At the beginning of Syrian “revolution”, extremist groups and their supporters formed working group to approach ALL parliamentary political parties to urge them to support the “revolution”. I know that this is normal practice for “lobby groups” to visit politicians and try to convince them to support their “causes”. But this group was different.
Extremists could gain meetings with representatives of ALL parliamentary political parties at that time. Their main argument was that supporting this popular “revolution” will gain these political parties votes of the majority of Australian Muslims, who strongly support Syrian “revolution”. I assume that there were other promises too. This includes promises of financial support for their parties. I am aware of offer to donate to many election campaigns of different parties from these extremists groups.
Surprisingly, the strategy worked perfectly. It was the first issue that ALL parliamentary political parties agreed to support.
The subsequent attacks by extremists on their rivals (including shootings, burning businesses and homes, death threats, verbal and physical assaults...) went for the last 4years with no condemnation from any of these political parties. On the contrary. When I sought meeting with my local Federal MP (Labor), appropriate state ministers (Liberals) and representatives of security agencies, my requests were declined.
I can safely assume that behind closed doors, more dangerous dealings were happening. Such dealing that could see at least 2 Muslims of Lebanese background become members of NSW parliament next March. Both are originally form the same village of terrorist Khalid Sharrouf, Mohamed El Omer and Abdallah Elmir.
Is this mere coincidence?
It is very clear that these extremist groups decided or received some advice to infiltrate our political system. For the last few decades, these groups declared that democracy is Haram/forbidden (according to their Islam), and so they boycotted it totally. It seems that they were convinced recently that influencing political system would get them a lot of benefits, including authorities turning blind eyes on their violent extremist practices against rivals. And it would not be seen as participating in the forbidden and cursed democracy.
The 4 Corners program could have played major role as eye-opener to the fact that some political parties had decided to enter alliance with these extremist groups. Unless they want to convince us that CFMEU was dealing only with single gangster: Khalid Sharouf. And why would CFMEU want to deal with convicted terrorist to threaten and blackmail opponents? They could have employed ordinary drug dealers or bikie gangs. And by the way, do not buy the claims of CFMEU that these accusations are witch-hunt against union by anti-union Liberal party.
If we take into account the recent developments, we could build on what the 4 corners revealed and reach some conclusions.
The NSW Labor party wants to promote to NSW parliament next year 2 candidates with some connections with extremists.
In Lakemba seat, the NSW Labor party headquarter parachuted Jihad Dip to run as candidate in that seat, despite local members’ opposition to this appointment. Jihad Dip is very close to notorious Jamal Rifi, who was until recently on the front-line supporting rebels in Syria including seeking meeting recently with top NSW Police officials to protest against Foreign Incursions Act and the NSW Police announcement to crack down on fighters’ travel to Syria (http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-05-14/muslim-leaders-hold-closed-meetings-with-police/5451094 ). Mr Dip also has connections to Lebanese Moslem Association, who at occasions broadcasted lectures of terrorist Anwar Al Awlaki, who was killed later by US drones (http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/alqaeda-at-city-mosque-20100414-se8g.html ). The LMA also put a fatwa against Muslims engaging in wishing “Merry Christmas” for Christian neighbours and friends (http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/lakemba-mosque-removes-christmas-fatwa-post-20121223-2btaj.html ).

The NSW Labor party is involved in discrediting popular shadow minister (and former minister) Barbara Perry. The NSW Labor for some reasons is risking split within ranks and even risking possible loss of seat.
Reports in Sydney Morning Herald cited that Barbara’s challenger had developed strong relations with Laurie Ferguson, Federal Labor MP, despite the fact that the challenger belongs to the Labor Right, while Laurie is from the Left (http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/eddie-obeid-the-weapon-of-choice-in-auburn-preselection-stoush-20141116-11mvrs.html ).
By the way, Fergusons have strong connections with CFMEU...!!!

Well, it seems that the history repeats itself, but with more dangerous flavour. Now, NSW Labor party is allowing Muslims of Lebanese background with clear connections to extremists to develop a new powerful faction.
We believe that NSW Labor committing this mistake will have wide-spread negative (or even destructive) implications. The NSW Labor needs to understand the changing mood (even among Australian Muslims) about what is happening in Syria (and in Iraq) in the last few months. The majority of Muslims want to save Australia from any possible terrorist activities, after discovering that what was happening in Syria was not a revolution, but rather terrorist activities. Many of them changed their view of what is happening in Syria and Iraq.
We believe that we should stop Labor from committing the biggest mistake in their history, even if this means that Lakemba and Auburn change hands to conservative Liberals....
The last point to mention here is that the extremist groups are very wealthy groups. In the last few years they were successful in sending millions of dollars to Syrian opposition. They also received millions of dollars from unspecified sources, where they used this money in building tens of big centres and buying lucrative businesses. For the last few decades, the money flow to these groups came from Saudis (http://www.nationalobserver.net/pdf/2007_secret_saudi_funding_of_radical_islamic_groups_in_australia.pdf ). But more recently, Saudis decided to reduce the support for these groups after it realised that the extremism/terrorism could hit in the heart of Saudi Arabia. The more logical explanation of continued flow of money to Australian extremist groups is that a lot of the money is received recently from wealthy terrorist organisations operating in Syria and Iraq who generate millions of dollars daily out of illegal oil trade, selling of women and kids and kidnapping of civilians to collect ransoms.
It seems that these extremist groups had decided to play politics to gain some political influence. I hope I am wrong, but all indications are not promising.
We hope that authorities and officials of political parties (especially the NSW Labor party) will realise the extreme dangerous game they want to enter.

Media should start to ask why Jamal Rifi knows almost every Australian died or went to fight in Syria... Media should start to ask why the majority of Australians fighting in Syria (including those died fighting in Syria)... نتائج الانتخابات الامريكية النصفية وانعكاساتها على الازمة في الشرق الاوسط
بالرغم من السياسات المتشددة التي انتهجها الرئيس الامريكي باراك اوباما وحزبه الديمقراطي خلال العام لمنع صعود اليمين الجمهوري ومنع سيطرته على مجلسي النواب والشيوخ, فان الهزيمة الساحقة التي مني بها الرئيس وحزبه قد يكون لها انعكاسات ايجابية على الازمة في الشرق الاوسط.
ادارة الرئيس اوباما والتي نجحت بوقف الانهيار الاقتصادي وبدء التعافي الاقتصادي يجب ان تكون قد ادركت ان الاقتصاد وحده لا يحقق شعبية او نجاحا سياسيا. كما ان هذه الادارة نجحت على اكثر من صعيد, ومنها سحب القوات الامريكية من العراق والوعد بانهاء المشاركة الامريكية المسلحة في المستنقع الافغاني.
الرئيس الامريكي وحزبه الديمقراطي لا بد انهم في وارد مراجعة الاسباب التي ادت الى هذه الكارثة الانتخابية/السياسية وعلى راسها تزايد قلق الامريكيين من خطورة الارهاب الدولي بقيادة تنظيم داعش الارهابي واحتمال تمدده الى امريكا.
في مقالات سابقة كنت قد توقعت ان الولايات المتحدة وحلفائها قد بداوا بالفعل تغيير سياساتهم اتجاه ما يحدث في الشرق الاوسط, نتيجة الفشل في تدمير وهزيمة الدولة السورية. كما كنت قد توقعت ان هذا التغيير يجب ان يشمل محاولة منع عودة الارهابيين الغربيين الى بلدانهم وبشتى الطرق. احدى هذه الطرق هي تاجيج الصراع في المنطقة وتوسيعه ليشمل دول مجاورة لسوريا ودخول قوات غربية على خط محاربة التنظيمات الارهابية. كل ذلك من اجل تشكيل تحد ايدولوجي لمقاتلي التنظيمات الارهابية التكفيرية لمنع انهيارهم السريع وبالتالي عودة الارهابيين الغربيين الى دولهم باعداد كبيرة ستهدد الامن القومي لهذه الدول.
الا ان الكثير من المحللين والمراقبين المؤيدين للدولة السورية كانوا وما زالوا يشككون بنوايا الامريكي وحلفائه اتجاه سوريا والمنطقة. وكانوا يستشهدون على ذلك بان امريكا وحلفائها قرروا التدخل في سوريا مباشرة للانقضاض قريبا على الجيش السوري وقلب نظام الحكم هناك. كما استشهدوا ايضا بعدم فعالية الضربات الجوية في القضاء على الجماعات الارهابية بل والقاء الطائرات الامريكية عدة مرات لاسلحة ومعدات لداعش في اكثر من منطقة.
اعتقد جازما ان هذا التراخي العسكري الامريكي في توجيه ضربات قاتلة للتنظيمات الارهابية بل ومساعدة هذه التنظيمات بالقاء سلاح لها سببه الرئيس كان قرب الانتخابات النصفية لمجلس الشيوخ الامريكي.
فالرئيس اوباما وحزبه الديمقراطي لم يودوا الانقضاض بقوة على التنظيمات الارهابية التي شاركوا بانشاءها وتدريبها وتسليحها وبالتالي اعلان فشل مخططهم بقلب نظام الحكم في سوريا قبل هذه الانتخابات. فادارة الرئيس الامريكي اشبعت مواطنيها ومواطني دول العالم وخصوصا الغربية منها بكل الفبركات والاكاذيب عن "همجية النظام السوري والجيش السوري" وان الولايات المتحدة لن تعترف بالنظام الا بعد تنحي الرئيس الاسد. والرئيس الامريكي ووزرائه اكدوا لمواطنيهم خلال ال4 سنوات الماضية ان "ايام الاسد معدودة", وما يزال الامريكي يعد الايام. ولذلك فان تراجع الرئيس الامريكي وادارته عن سياسة معاداة الدولة السورية بل والانتقال الى مساعدة الدولة في ضرب التنظيمات الارهابية والعمل على انهاء وجودهم في سوريا كان سيؤدي الى نتائج كارثية على شعبية الرئيس وادارته.
الان وبعد انتهاء الانتخابات النصفية بهزيمة لحزب الرئيس الديمقراطي, فان الرئيس اوباما لن يكون تحت ضغط انتخابي وخوف على شعبية منهارة. بل ان الرئيس وادارته يعرفون ان الكثير من الشعبية المفقودة تعود للسياسة الخارجية المترددة لهذه الادارة وما نتج عنها من تفشي للارهاب والذي اصبح يهدد امريكا وحلفائها. هذا التهديد الارهابي الذي ضرب قبل ايام داخل البرلمان الكندي وما زال يهدد وبشدة مدن غربية اخرى على راسها مدن الولايات المتحدة نفسها.
كما ان الرئيس الامريكي وادارته يدركون ان سياساتهم الخارجية الفاشلة ستنعكس عاجلا ام اجلا الى كارثة انسانية على دولتهم والدول الغربية الحليفة. وبدون خطة واضحة للقضاء على الارهاب في دول الشرق الاوسط , فان هذا الفشل سيؤدي الى انتشار الارهاب الى الدول الغربية وعلى راسها امريكا.
وقد تكون الخطة البديلة عن الخطة الاصيلة (المتمثلة بمشروع الشرق الاوسط) تتلخص بالعمل على قتل اكبر عدد من الارهابيين في سوريا والعراق. هذا القتل الذي سيعمل على تحقيق اكثر من هدف.
الهدف الاول يتمثل بالتخلص من اعداد كبيرة من الارهابيين التكفيريين (تصل الان الى 25 الف تكفيري اجنبي وحوالي 100 الف تكفيري سوري وعراقي) قبل مغادرتهم الى دول اخرى حليفة لامريكا. كما ستعمل هذه الاستراتيجية على تشكيل حافز لمن تبقى من التكفيريين لمغادرة المنطقة (سوريا وجوارها) الى دول تنعدم فيها الحكومة المركزية ويكون تحقيق حلم الخلافة فيها اسهل.
والواضح ان الولايات المتحدة تعمل على نقل نشاط التكفيريين الى شمال افريقيا (خصوصا ليبيا التي تنعدم فيها حكومة مركزية وتتوفر فيها كل ظروف اقامة الخلافة الموعودة) لاشغالهم ولمدة طويلة بحروب مع القبائل تلهيهم عن العودة الى دولهم الغربية ونشر الرعب فيها.
هذه الاستراتيجية ليست بالجديدة وقد استخدمتها امريكا من قبل. فبعد انسحاب الروس من افغانستان وبدا عودة المقاتلين التكفيريين الاجانب الى بلدانهم وبداهم بالعمل لمحاولة نشر التجربة الافغانية في اقامة نظام ظلامي فيها, قامت الولايات المتحدة بتطبيق استراتيجية الاشغال في دول غير صديقة او دول تتوفر فيها خيرات يجب نهبها.
وهذا ما حصل في الجزائر حيث توجه الكثير من الافغان العرب لاشعال حرب اهلية طاحنة استنزفت الدولة الغنية بالغاز والنفط والمعادن الاخرى. وما ان انتهت الحرب الاهلية الجزائرية, قامت الولايات المتحدة بتوجيه الافغان العرب الى البلقان وكوسوفو. وهكذا دواليك.
بالرغم من ان ادارة الرئيس الامريكي ستواجه الكثير من الصعوبات والعراقيل بسبب سيطرة الجمهوريين على ميزان القوة في الكونغرس بمجلسيه, الا ان الرئيس لا يحتاج الى موافقة الكونغرس للبدء بتنفيذ سياسته الخارجية. ويدرك الرئيس ان لديه عام واحد قبل بدا انطلاق الحملات الانتخابية لتحسين صورة امريكا بتعزيز امنها القومي ضد الارهاب والجماعات الارهابية, تمنع كارثة انتخابية اخرى لحزبه الديمقلراطي.
اؤمن ان اللعبة القذرة لتدمير سوريا ورسم نظام شرق اوسط جديد هي في ربع ساعتها الاخيرة. ولن يكون امام ادارة اوباما الا اللجوء الى الخطة ب لاشغال الارهابيين بحلم جديد لاقامة خلافة ظلامية ستلهيهم لعقود عن الانقضاض على امريكا والدول المتحالفة معها. والشواهد كبيرة عن بدا انسحاب الالاف من سوريا والعراق وتوجههم نحو ليبيا لاقامة خلافتهم هناك. وما اعلان امارة درنة الا مقدمة لنقل الخلافة من الرقة الى درنة وبدا التمدد في هذا البلد الشاسع المترامي الاطراف.

Reality of Channel 7 revelations: radicalisation under smokescreen of Syrian “revolution”
I enjoyed watching the Channel 7 news today. The news mentioned that the most dangerous Australian terrorist was killed in Syrian city of Raqqah. This means that Syrian army is inflicting heavy causalities among these terrorists, even in their stronghold city.
Then the news showed a detailed report about home-grown radicalisation of kids, where they were taught the benefits of beheading enemies and the poison of democracy.
The best part of the news was that Channel 7 did not seek opinion of extremists who were made by politicians and media as peace-doves and great fighters against terrorism. I was happy not to see the face of Samir Danden (President of Lebanese Moslem Association) and Jamal Rifi.
In fact the 2 news items were great evidence that what Australians were hearing from these two were no more than cheap lies and deceptions.
Samir Danden lead an organisation that ran lectures of Anwar AL Awlaki (number 1 on list of most dangerous terrorists in the world) on several occasions in the past. The senior clerk there had issued last year a fatwa that Muslims should not say “Merry Christmas” to their Christian neighbours or friends. But surprisingly, Mr Danden had the courage early this month to claim that radicalisation evident among some sections of the community are the work of anonymous people he called them “sheikh Google and Imam YouTube”.
He (Samer Danden) wanted to convince us that the 400 Australian terrorists fighting currently in Syria and Iraq were recruited by Facebook and Twitter of unknown and unqualified “sheikh Google”.
On the other hand, Jamal Rifi was on denial that there is any danger on Australia by radical groups and brainwashed individuals. Such lies that were quickly exposed and refuted by the recent developments.
The biggest lie of both Jamal Rifi and Samir Danden is their claim that they are “moderates” who will do all in their capacity to fight against radicalisation. As if we (as Muslims and as Australians) forgot that both were on the frontline advocating violence in Syria and fundraised large amounts of money for the Syrian “revolution”, the mother of global terrorism.
The Channel 7’s revelation of brainwashing sessions of kids happened in our suburbs and by known extremists. The revelation few weeks ago of the fundraising event where ISIS flag was auctioned for more than $2500. And the revelation of the fact that man y ISIS leaders in Syria and Iraq are Australians. All these revelations proved beyond any doubt that Samir Danden and Jamal Rifi were lying on all Australians for the last few months (in fact years).
The most important (and most disappointing) issue here is that the media and politicians are presenting these radicals (and few others) as the peace-doves and messiahs that will save Australia from any terrorist activity. Not only this. Media was trying to deceive all of us by promoting Jamal Rifi as “community leader that will run in the next state election to save our youth form radicalisation”. All these despite the fact that we provided these media with video clips showing Jamal Rifi advocating Australians to support Syrian “revolution”, the mother of global terrorism. And media knows very well about Lebanese Moslem Association and their promoting of radical Islam.
We hope that media and politicians will wake up soon. Such wake-up that will not start before media tells the truth about who really led the radicalisation of our youth, who facilitated their travel to fight in Syria and those who fundraised millions of dollars to fund terrorism in Syria.
Recently I asked one of my friends ABC journalist “are you too late for reporting on radicalisation in Australia?” He answered, with very embarrassed low tone “Yes, but it is always good to be late than never”

ارهاب واستنفار امني في كندا والغرب: على نفسها (وعلينا) جنت براقش
في غضون يومين, تعرضت كندا لعمليتين ارهابيتين قام بهما متطرفين تكفيريين معروفين للسلطات الامنية هناك. احدى هذه العمليات تحمل رمزية خطيرة, حيث هاجم ارهابي تكفيري مدجج بالسلاح البرلمان الفيديرالي واشتبك مع حراس البرلمان داخله لمدة ساعات.
ما يثير سخطي, واشمئزازي ايضا, ان السلطات الكندية (والغربية عموما ومن ضمنها السلطات الاسترالية) ما زالت تتسائل: لماذا؟ وكيف؟
السلطات الاسترالية (والكندية) تود ان تقنعنا ان التطرف والارهاب ولدا بالامس وتدربا بالامس وتسلحا بالامس. هذه السلطات تتحدث في معرض حديثها عن التطرف والارهاب عن داعش فقط. فلا قاعدة مارست ارهابا. ولا جبهة نصرة ذبحت وسلخت وحرقت الناس احياءا. ولا جيش سوري حر قطع اعناق ونبش قبور وفتح صدور واكل اكباد.
في شهر فبراير 2012 اطلق ملتحون متطرفون النار على السيد علي ابراهيم امام باب منزله في مدينة سيدني الاسترالية. جريمة علي الوحيدة انه وضع صورة الرئيس السوري بشار الاسد كصورة لحسابه على الفيسبوك. السلطات الامنية الاسترالية لم تحاكم احدا على هذه الجريمة التي كادت ان تودي بحياة احد مواطنيها الشرفاء او ان تقعده للابد.
لم تكتف السلطات الامنية الاسترالية بالتقاعس في التحقيق بالجريمة, بل عملت على التستر عليها. فعندما قمت بالاتصال بالصحافة الاسترالية لفضح هؤلاء المتطرفين, تلقيت اتصالا غاضبا من مركز الشرطة المحلي. الضابط المناوب هددني ان لم اوقف الحملة الصحافية, سيتم اعتقالي بتهم نشر اكاذيب قد تؤدي الى اعمال عنف مجتمعية. بالرغم من عدم رضوخي للضغوط. وبالرغم من التغطية الاعلامية الواسعة للجريمة. الا ان المجرمين لم يحاكموا حتى يومنا هذا.
قبل يومين من هذه الجريمة, سافر 30 متطرفا من مدينة سيدني الى العاصمة الفيديرالية كانبيرا. قاد هؤلاء المتطرفون مظاهرة همجية سارت في شوارع العاصمة وانتهت بالهجوم على السفارة السورية وتدمير بعض محتوياتها. ولقد اخبرني القائم باعمال السفير السوري فيما بعد ان السفير العراقي كان قد لاحظ هؤلاء الهمج يزحفون على السفارة فابلغ الشرطة الفيديرالية المولجة حماية السفارة, كما ابلغ القائم باعمال السفير السوري. ولم تتحرك الشرطة الفيديرالية بسرعة لاعتراض المسيرة وتاخرت الى ان قام المتظاهرون بالهجوم على السفارة ونهب بعض محتوياتها والهروب. وبالرغم من كل ذلك ومن حقيقة ان السفارة سلمت السلطات الامنية اشرطة الفيديو, الا ان السلطات لم تعتقل احدا ولم تحاكم احدا, حتى هذه اللحظة.
منذ ذلك الوقت, شنت المجموعات المتطرفة الهجوم تلو الهجوم على كل من اعتبرتهم "كفرة... مرتدين... شيعة... علويين... ومعارضين للثورة في سوريا". فاحرقت محال وهوجمت مراكز دينية شيعية وعلوية وهددت شخصيات واعتدي على ناشطين. وفي كل هذه الهمروجة كانت السلطات تصر ان "كل شيء على ما يرام" وانه لا يوجد تطرف ولا خطر ارهابي. ولم يعتقل احد.
السلطات كانت تعلم ان المجموعات المتطرفة كانت تمارس غسيل دماغ وتستقطب متطرفين وتجمع تبرعات ترسلها مع مقاتلين الى سوريا. وان كانت السلطات لا تعلم, فقد عملنا على تجميع كل ما وقع تحت ايدينا من معلومات وسلمناها للسلطات ووسائل الاعلام. وبالرغم من ذلك, احجمت السلطات عن اتخاذ اي اجراء لمنع انفلاش التطرف والارهاب.
حتى عندما تعرضت شخصيا لاعتداء من متطرفين امام شاشات التلفاز في منتصف عام 2013 (بعد حملة تهديدات واسعة تعرضت لها منذ منتصف عام 2012 الى منتصف عام 2013 تضمنت تهديدات بالقتل), كانت السلطات ما تزال تصر ان "كل شيء على ما يرام" وتنفي ان هناك مراكز تدير التطرف وتنشره. والمتطرف الذي ارتكب جريمته امام كل استراليا, دبرت له محاكمة هزلية انتهت باطلاق سراحه دون ادانة.
ومن هنا ياتي سخطي وغضبي من تساؤل السلطات الغربية من اين اتى كل هذا التطرف في مجتمعاها.
فالسلطات الاسترالية (كما غيرها من السلطات الغربية كما اعرف) سمحت بنشاطات التكفيريين ودعمتهم وغضت النظر عن تجاوزاتهم وسمحت لهم بالسفر الى سوريا. كما سمحت لمراكزهم ببث الكراهية الطائفية. كما سمحت لهذه المراكز ان تنمو وتجمع تبرعات بالملايين وترسلها للمجموعات المسلحة في سوريا. كما قامت السلطات ووسائل الاعلام بتبني رواية المجموعات التكفيرية عن حقيقة ما يحدث في سوريا باعتبارها ثورة شعبية وليست عمليات ارهاب ممنهجة.
بل وانه بالرغم من عودة عشرات الاستراليين من سوريا بعد القتال هناك, فانه لم يتم اعتقال اي واحد منهم, حتى الان. حتى مع الحملة الاخيرة من المداهمات والاعتقالات, فان معظمها كان مسرحي لذر الرماد في العيون واسكات الاصوات التي تتهم الحكومة بالتقاعس وتحملها اي نتائج لهذا التقاعس. والا فلماذا يتم مداهمة منزل المواطن من اصل افغاني مصطفى الديراني ويتهم بدعم الارهاب التكفيري بالرغم من ان السيد مصطفى شيعي يرفض الفكر التكفيري جملا وتفصيلا؟ ولماذا لم يتم مداهمة منازل زعماء المجموعات التكفيرية ومن قام وبشكل علني بالدعوة للجهاد في سوريا والعراق والاعتداء على اتباع المذاهب الاخرى؟
السلطات الغربية التي دعمت المؤامرة لتفتيت سوريا بتشجيع الارهابيين وتسهيل وصولهم الى سوريا وتمويل انشطتهم يجب ان لا تتظاهر بالبراءة من نتائج ما اقترفته. فالارهاب في اوتاوا الكندية اليوم. والارهاب الذي قد يضرب اي مدينة غربية غدا. كله نتيجة حتمية للسياسات الخطرة المتهورة التي اتبعتها هذه الدول خلال السنوات الاربع الماضية في الشرق الاوسط ومشروع تفتيته باستخدام الاسلام السياسي التكفيري.
حذرت ومنذ بداية الازمة السورية بان مشروع تفتيت سوريا لن يمر. كما حذرت (وغيري من العقلاء) ان فشل المشروع سيجر الويلات على العالم بعد ان يقرر التكفيريون الذين استقدموا من اكثر من 83 دولة لتحقيق هذا الكابوس العودة لبلدانهم ومحاولة اقامة ولايات اسلامية فيها. او ان يقرر هؤلاء ان العالم تكالب عليهم لمنعهم من انشاء خلافتهم, ولا بد من الانتقام من كل العالم.
على السلطات الغربية ان لا تتهرب من المسؤوليات والبدء بتحمل نتائج السياسات الكارثية التي اتبعتها في الشرق الاوسط. يبدا ذلك بالاعتراف باخطاء هذه السلطات في سوريا والعمل على التعاون مع السلطات السورية لمكافحة الارهاب التكفيري العابر للدول والقارات.
من الواضح ان السلطات الاسترالية لم تصل الى هذه المرحلة بعد. فالسلطات ما تزال تستخدم نفس اللغة في التعامل مع الكارثة الانسانية المسماة "ثورة سورية". كما ان هذه السلطات ما تزال تصر على ان المتطرفين الذين شجعوا الارهاب بالامس, هم مفاتيح الحل لمحاربة هذا التطرف. والسلطات الاسترالية ما تزال تتراخى مع المراكز التكفيرية التي ما تزال تصر على وجوب الجهاد في سوريا.
يبدو ان ما حدث في كندا هو البداية... والقادم اعظم. وعلى الغرب ان يستعد لحرب مفتوحة مع ارهاب ساعد في انشاءه...

The reasons why Muslims should apologize for ISIS crimes: Not in My Name
A group of Muslims started a campaign of “#NotInMyName” to not only condemn the horrendous crimes conducted by ISIS and other Takfiri terrorists, but also to apologise for these crimes. That was the right move to do.
Surprisingly, few Muslim “leaders” came out and refused to participate in this noble campaign. Not only they refused to participate in it, but they also tried to delegitimize and dishonour it. The justifications used were both morally corrupt and superficial.
One of the justifications used by these Muslim “leaders” was “we did not participate in conducting these crimes and so we should not apologise for the actions of others”.
Does this ring a bell? We all remember how former Australian PM used the same justification to refuse apologising for our indigenous people for the crimes they were subjected to in the last 2 centuries. Surprisingly, John Howard was harshly condemned by the majority of Australians, especially by the “lefties”. The same lefties that highly praised this argument by some high profile Muslims including Mahreen Faruqi, the Greens NSW MLC.
The other reason mentioned in Ms Faruqi’s article in the Guardian (I know the actions of Isis are #NotInMyName, and I won't be pressured to apologise for them, 25 September 2014) was that we should not condemn the crimes, we should instead condemn the reasons that lead some Muslims to commit these crimes. And she mentioned misleading examples to prove her argument.
Mahreen thinks that ISIS and other Takfiri terrorists were born as a result of US invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan. Does this ring bell again. Did you notice that ISIS and other terrorists are justifying their crimes as a result of Israeli occupation of Palestine and US invasion of Iraq?
I strongly support this campaign for many reasons that I will mention here. But let us first ask the following question to understand why it is vital to support this campaign: Did ISIS and other takfiri terrorists have any justification for their horrendous crimes?
ISIS declared, with a lot of historical evidences, that their campaign of terrorism is both religiously and morally justified. And this is precisely why Muslims, especially leaders, should come forward and condemn these actions.
ISIS based its campaign on historical incidents where Muslims cut heads of rivals, both Muslims and non-Muslims. The failure of Muslim leaders and scholars to condemn and apologise for these crimes gave ISIS and other Takfiri terrorist groups moral grounds to carry on these crimes.
For 1500 years, Muslim leaders and scholars failed to condemn the first mass beheadings conducted by Muslim leaders against other Muslim leaders. The current and previous Muslim leaders and scholars failure to condemn the mass beheadings then, constitutes the religious grounds to continue the beheadings until today.
Those Muslim leaders who refuse to participate in the campaign and their use of US invasion of Iraq to justify ISIS crimes are directly or indirectly deceiving people about the reality of the situation.
Mahreen and her supporters should try to convince us what is the relation between US invasion of Iraq (2003) and the beheadings of Algerians during the civil war there (1991-2001). And we also do not know how beheading of Iraqis and Syrians, slavery of Iraqi women and raping children there will revenge for US invasion of Iraq.
Many arguments used by terrorist-apologists like Mahreen were simply not applicable on the situation in Iraq and Syria. The quote from George Megalogenis about child abuse and Catholic Church is out of context and not related to current debate. There is no single Australian citizen (Catholic or non-Catholic) supports child abuse. But there are Millions of Muslims support beheadings of rivals (including the beheading of the grandson of Muslim prophet) for the last 15 centuries.
It is the time for Muslims to speak loud and clear: Not in Our Name. Any silence, refusal to apologise or quiet condemnation will be used by terrorists to continue their terrorism. It will also help them in recruiting our youth.
While I know that Australian government loves to use the situation to increase division in our society, but silence on these terrorist actions will not help in counteracting these efforts. The high radicalisation in our community and all possible consequences is a reality.
The injustices in the society (mentioned by Mahreen in her article) did not lead to this high radicalisation. Muslim leaders apologising for ISIS crimes does not mean that they support US invasion of Iraq. It does not mean that they support Tony Abbott’s harsh liberal agenda against poor and marginalised. It will help defusing radicalisation and fighting against Islamophobia, by isolating extremists and deny them any platform to continue their radical agenda.
Surprisingly, few Muslim “leaders” came out and refused to participate in this noble campaign. Not only they refused to participate in it, but they also tried to delegitimize and dishonour it. The justifications used were both morally corrupt and superficial.
One of the justifications used by these Muslim “leaders” was “we did not participate in conducting these crimes and so we should not apologise for the actions of others”.
Does this ring a bell? We all remember how former Australian PM used the same justification to refuse apologising for our indigenous people for the crimes they were subjected to in the last 2 centuries. Surprisingly, John Howard was harshly condemned by the majority of Australians, especially by the “lefties”. The same lefties that highly praised this argument by some high profile Muslims including Mahreen Faruqi, the Greens NSW MLC.
The other reason mentioned in Ms Faruqi’s article in the Guardian (I know the actions of Isis are #NotInMyName, and I won't be pressured to apologise for them, 25 September 2014) was that we should not condemn the crimes, we should instead condemn the reasons that lead some Muslims to commit these crimes. And she mentioned misleading examples to prove her argument.
Mahreen thinks that ISIS and other Takfiri terrorists were born as a result of US invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan. Does this ring bell again. Did you notice that ISIS and other terrorists are justifying their crimes as a result of Israeli occupation of Palestine and US invasion of Iraq?
I strongly support this campaign for many reasons that I will mention here. But let us first ask the following question to understand why it is vital to support this campaign: Did ISIS and other takfiri terrorists have any justification for their horrendous crimes?
ISIS declared, with a lot of historical evidences, that their campaign of terrorism is both religiously and morally justified. And this is precisely why Muslims, especially leaders, should come forward and condemn these actions.
ISIS based its campaign on historical incidents where Muslims cut heads of rivals, both Muslims and non-Muslims. The failure of Muslim leaders and scholars to condemn and apologise for these crimes gave ISIS and other Takfiri terrorist groups moral grounds to carry on these crimes.
For 1500 years, Muslim leaders and scholars failed to condemn the first mass beheadings conducted by Muslim leaders against other Muslim leaders. The current and previous Muslim leaders and scholars failure to condemn the mass beheadings then, constitutes the religious grounds to continue the beheadings until today.
Those Muslim leaders who refuse to participate in the campaign and their use of US invasion of Iraq to justify ISIS crimes are directly or indirectly deceiving people about the reality of the situation.
Mahreen and her supporters should try to convince us what is the relation between US invasion of Iraq (2003) and the beheadings of Algerians during the civil war there (1991-2001). And we also do not know how beheading of Iraqis and Syrians, slavery of Iraqi women and raping children there will revenge for US invasion of Iraq.
Many arguments used by terrorist-apologists like Mahreen were simply not applicable on the situation in Iraq and Syria. The quote from George Megalogenis about child abuse and Catholic Church is out of context and not related to current debate. There is no single Australian citizen (Catholic or non-Catholic) supports child abuse. But there are Millions of Muslims support beheadings of rivals (including the beheading of the grandson of Muslim prophet) for the last 15 centuries.
It is the time for Muslims to speak loud and clear: Not in Our Name. Any silence, refusal to apologise or quiet condemnation will be used by terrorists to continue their terrorism. It will also help them in recruiting our youth.
While I know that Australian government loves to use the situation to increase division in our society, but silence on these terrorist actions will not help in counteracting these efforts. The high radicalisation in our community and all possible consequences is a reality.

More indications on who promoted extremism in our society!!!
The news yesterday that Newcastle court refused to release an ignorant man on bail for yelling at Muslim women and asking her to “go back where she came from” is deeply troubling. The authorities’ harsh dealing with such minor common assault could have deep negative impact and no positive outcome. The hate of Muslims could gain more ground if seen that authorities are siding with Muslims against the majority of citizens.
Many Muslims, including myself, would also ask thousand questions in this regard. One of these questions would be about the authorities’ extreme lenience in dealing with crimes committed for the last 3 years by Muslim extremists against other fellow Muslims who were seen not to support the extreme interpretation of Islam. Why authorities did not arrest any extremist in crimes committed in relation to Syrian crisis? Why extremists who shot Ali Ibrahim (Feb 2012) were not caught until now? Why extremist who physically attacked me May 2013 in front of Channel 7 cameras was not arrested for even one hour and his sentence was not more than good behaviour bond for 12 months, despite its deep religious hate nature? Why extremists burned down shops, threatened mainly Shia and Alawi Muslims were never caught and brought to justice??
It seems that authorities have deep secret agendas, even in arresting criminals.
When I received chilling messages of threats to kill me and rape my kids (August 2012), authorities did not move to arrest perpetrator. No one was jailed. No one needed to apply for bail.
Now, authorities are flexing muscle on people who committed minor assault, when they ignored major assaults and violent activities. Ignoring such major assaults and violent activities encouraged extremists to radicalise youth, recruit extremists, send them to fight in Syria and commit violent attacks against people they disagreed with them on their extreme interpretation of Islam.
We do not think that yelling at woman is more serious crime than punching people, burning houses and businesses or shooting people in front of their kids.

The media and politicians still deceive you on “terrorism”: Wake up Australia..!!
I was visited by friend who was supporting ISIS and all other Takfiris in Syria until recently. I was shocked to hear him speak differently now. He was humiliated, disappointed and confused. “Did not they tell us for the last 4 years that they (ISIS and other Takfiri jihadists) are freedom fighters who need our help?”
But are the authorities and media serious in their “change-of-heart” towards these terrorists?
I personally do not think so.
Since the change of heart, the authorities (including media) were still seeking opinions of the same community “leaders” who promoted “freedom fighters” concept and supported these terrorists by all means.
Listen to this “leader” who was elected to be leader by 10 community members only but still claims to represent the “largest Muslim organisation” saying last Monday after PR conference to shake hands and kiss each other “the problem is that the community members do not listen to the true leaders. They listen to Sheikh Google and Imam Facebook”.
His mere lies were widely broadcasted on our media, adopted by our politicians and will be taught in our universities soon. Media noted earlier that the same leader’s organisation was actively brainwashing community members for the last decade even by broadcasting on several occasions lectures of AL Qaeda terrorists, including lectures by killed terrorist Anwar AL Awlaki, who was no 1 on most dangerous terrorist on earth (http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/alqaeda-at-city-mosque-20100414-se8g.html ). Mr Dandan of Lebanese Moslem Association apparently did not attend any Friday pray in the last 4 years in any of the mosques operated by extreme local imams which will be ended in calls for sectarian hate (and attacks) on Shia and Alawis as a support for Syrian “revolution”.
Media did not question Mr Danden’s unsubstantiated claims by reminding him of the auction of Al Qaeda flag in Ahmad Bin Hanbal centre (http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/nsw/hate-for-sale-as-muslim-flag-adopted-by-jihadists-goes-to-auction-at-sydney-mosque/story-fni0cx12-1227050847756 ). Not only this.
On Q&A program last Monday, a counter-terrorism expert Anne Azza Aly, adopted these lies unquestioned. The veteran ABC host, Tony Jones, agreed enthusiastically. No one asked Mr Dandan why Muslim community members will need Sheikh Google to radicalise them when there are plenty of extreme sheikhs available in every neighbourhood in our major cities!!!
This is not the only program that adopted such lies and reported them as facts.
So why our authorities are trying to continue deceiving you?
One would assume that media and other authorities would not continue to deceive you unless there is another agenda or plan.
I say (and said for the last 4 years) that plan A for authorities was to allow extremist sheikhs and centres to brainwash our youth and recruit them to go and fight in countries like Libya and then Syria to achieve US “New Middle East plan”. Otherwise, how would our authorities explain the large numbers of Australian terrorists participating in the fight in Syria and Iraq (the largest among Western nations per capita).
But when plan A failed outside the gates of Damascus, it seems that the same perpetrators (US and its CIA) came with plan B.
We discover that by plan B, the perpetrators will change some of the terminology only. By plan B, “Freedom fighters” will become “extreme terrorists” that need to be crushed and destroyed. By this way, US can achieve many goals with one shot.
Firstly, it will try and attack Syrian army posts and government’s command centres, then they can try changing the unfriendly regime. This is highly unlikely (if not impossible) to happen now after Russia and Iran strong warnings with sending whole fleet of warships and stockpiles of rockets and advanced weapons.
Secondly, US will secure new military basis to try and contain the aftermath of the collapse of plan A (protect their puppet regimes). In addition, US will be able to continue milking the region’s wealth under the banner of “protecting you from ISIS”.
Thirdly, kill as many terrorists as possible before they could return safely to their homeland where they could constitute great pain to the Western security agencies.
This is why authorities are not telling you the full story. This is why media and authorities are not talking about the main related issue: “who created these monsters and allowed them to grow and expand in our society and beyond”.
Otherwise, why all talks by politicians on our media for the last 2 months were about the threat of Australian Takfiri terrorists on our society after their return from Syria. But no one is ready to discuss who allowed them to go to fight in Syria, who recruited them and who allowed this recruitment.
I can smell new conspiracy... I am sure it will fail... but what is the price...
In addition to hundreds of thousands of innocents killed in different countries because of plan A, we started to pay the price by coping attacks on community members, spit on women faces, graffiti on mosques and schools and high discrimination at all levels.
Why would victims pay the price twice!!!

My thoughts after Anti-terrorism raids in Australia today: I am not convinced!!!
The authorities (all of them including government, security agencies, politicians and media) want all of you to believe that we suddenly discovered that we have terrorists in our country.
These terrorists became terrorists overnight. They developed strong relations with ISIS commanders overnight. And they accepted to act on these commanders’ orders also overnight.
They want all of you to believe that there were no brainwashing campaigns for years. They want you to think that there were no community organisations working day and night in brainwashing, organising, recruiting and fundraising for extremists. They want to tell you that all sectarian violence, burning houses and businesses, shooting and stabbing rivals and extortion of businesses in suburbs were all our imaginations.
Until mid last year, the Police deputy commissioner was quoted saying to journalist about the attacks and threat on me and my friends to be “unsubstantiated” and “everything is ok”. And when I complained about this to the Minister for Police, I received no answer until today.
The authorities were deadly silent on shooting of Ali Ibrahim, extortion of businesses run by Shia and Alawi Australians, burning Naji and Al Hariri chicken shops, sending death threats to me and attacking me outside AL Bukhari bookstore and then outside Al Risalah bookstore.
The authorities even violated its obligations under Geneva conventions when they allowed Takfiri extremists to rampage the Syrian embassy, and arrested no one until today (despite the fact that the embassy officials surrendered photages of perpetrators to authorities).
The authorities did not do anything when we provided them with leaflets urging community members to donate to buy ammunitions for Syrian “revolutionists”. The leaflet stated very clearly that Syrians need ammunitions and not milk or medicines. The leaflet asked community members to donate $150 to buy magazine of bullets for Kalashnikov or $1500 to buy Kalashnikov itself.
Authorities, including our publicly funded SBS and ABC, were actively recruiting terrorists to fight in Syria when they adopted and broadcasted all fabrications and lies by Syrian “revolutionists”. The same media are still insisted to continue deceiving all of us by allocating all air to community “leaders” to lecture us about fighting against extremism they created and grew out of control. The same media that conducted extensive interviews with extremists like Zaky Mallah and Yahya EL Kholed and portrayed them as “heroes” who went to Syria to help in humanitarian aid work. They were the same media that portrayed dead terrorists (Majzoub, Abbas, Tubrikaya....) as human aid workers killed by dictator regime.
Suddenly, all these authorities want to convince you that some youth went mad overnight and became extremists that want to “do harm to us”. As if people could be born terrorist: no need of brainwashing, recruiting, training, financing and putting within networks.
So what is the role of our authorities who turned blind eyes on Al Bukhari, Al Rislaah, Iqra bookstores and other centres of hate and allowed them to brainwash our youth in reaching ?
Why did our authorities turn blind eyes on our convicted terrorists and known extremists leaving to fight in Syria, until recently?
Why did our authorities turn blind eyes on fundraising activities and money transfer to extremists overseas, until yesterday?
Why did our authorities consider myself as trouble maker for standing up against sectarian hate campaigns in our society, and asked me to stop provoking extremists by calling them extremists and demand stop of attacks on businesses and activities?
Did authorities convince you that terrorist attack is imminent... only when US decided so!!!
Did authorities convince you when they claim that Jamal Rifi and Keysar Trad are part of solution of growing extremism instead of being major parts of the problem?!!!!

Our authorities: We have no trust in you in fighting extremism
Suddenly, all Western authorities (that includes politicians, media and security agencies) had seemingly woken up to the imminent threats of terrorism. Everywhere around the world. And Australia is not exception. Suddenly, authorities are desperate to coordinate with community “leaders” and members. Media are running tens of stories about extremism in our backyard.
But the main question here: are they serious in ending extremism and possible terrorism?
The answer until now is definitely NO.

When the government woke up to the bell of extremism (and possible imminent terrorism), they sought meetings and consultations with the same “leaders” that conducted the fierce campaign to radicalise our youth and help them travel to fight in Syria, where they gained extensive experience in military terrorism.
And when Khaled Sharrouf’s shocking pictures shocked our nation, the media rushed to community members and “leaders” that brainwashed Khaled and helped him to commit his crimes, seeking comments and shy condemnation.
But was there any one practical step to fight extremism on the road to destroy it?
I can claim safely that the practical steps taken were not serious and definitely not up to the extreme challenge we are facing.
Yes, we have PM who gives regular fiery speeches about possible terrorism in Australia.
And yes, we have ASIO boss regularly updating us about some information about Australian participation in terrorism overseas (we know more than these information, already!).
And we have loud talks about “Australia team”, but the members of the team chosen wrongly.
I was contacted on several occasions, by community members and media figures, asking my thoughts on authorities’ seriousness to combat extremism. And until now, I think all authorities are full of talk but no real action.
Let me start here by stating that all our authorities will not be serious in combating extremism until they admit that they were wrong on their assessment of what is happening in Syria. They are not serious in combating extremism until they declare that Syrian “revolution” was the mother of global terrorism in post WWII era. The authorities are not serious until they declare that the Syrian army and Hezbollah were fighting on our behalf to destroy terrorism before it reaches all of us. Before doing this, our authorities will be seen by all (both good community members and extremists alike) to be only trying to make things looking better.
I can say clearly here that community members (from both sides: extremists and victims of extremism) have lost faith in the authorises. And they (authorities) need to take serious actions to regain this lost faith: by actions and not talks.
We will believe authorities seriousness in fighting extremism when we see them arresting extremist “sheikhs” and self-appointed leaders, and not consulting them.
We will regain some faith in authorities when we will start seeing them closing down centres used openly to breach hate, violence and encourage terrorist activities (even if in other countries: Syria, Iraq....).
They will rebuild some broken bridges when authorises start to crack down on free flow of funding to these extremists on both sides: from Saudi Arabia and Qatar to Australia and from Australia to Syria and Iraq.
We will be willing to work hard with them when we start seeing ABC and SBS describing things as it is: in both Syria and Iraq it is terrorism by same ideology.
We will start helping them with all our abilities when we start seeing media reports exposing the source of radicalisation in our community: even if they (sources of extremism) recently claim to receive unsubstantiated threats from fake Facebook or Twitter accounts.
We will believe that you woke up when media start to expose terrorists who travelled to Syria, had close association with terrorist organisation, visited their weapons factories and expressed vocal support, but still considered by our media as “humanitarian aid worker”.
We will have some faith when security agencies will start arresting people for hate sectarian speech; not dropping charges of people caught exercising hate violence or facilitating travel of “passportless” convicted terrorists.
To date, we (communities members who oppose Arab “Spring”) think that you are not serious in combating extremism (and imminent terrorism).
We will believe you when you start value the heroic actions by Syrian army by describing them as Syrian army and not Assad army. And we will believe you when you remove Hezbollah from terrorist organisation list and send letter of thanks to its leadership.
But until now: all what we are seeing is a JOKE.
Otherwise, what kind of authorities we have that blame the whole extremism and terrorism around the world on two Australians: Khaled Sharrouf and Mohamed El Omer. The joke will be over when we will be told how many Sharroufs and El Omers we have and who brainwashed and helped to make them terrorists....
But the main question here: are they serious in ending extremism and possible terrorism?

الوضع في الشرق الاوسط: نحو الانفجار ام التهدئة النهائية
يذهب الكثير من المراقبين على ان حرب تشرين المصرية لم تكن الا حربا تحريكية لتحقيق سلام مصري-اسرائيلي على المقاس الامريكي. ويذهب هؤلاء ان احد الاسباب خلف "اجبار" الادارة الامريكية للطلب من انور السادات شن حرب محدودة على اسرائيل هو التعنت الاسرائيلي الرافض لاي تنازلات "لجيرانها" بعد نشوة انتصار ال 67 والتخلص اخيرا من الزعيم جمال عبد الناصر واستبداله بالعميل انور السادات.
ويبدو ان القريحة الامريكية لابتكار حلول للمشاكل المستعصية التي يخلقوها محدودة جدا, فتلجا عند الاستعصاء للطرق القديمة, خاصة التي نجحت منها.
في الوضع الراهن في الشرق الاوسط فان الاستعصاء في الوصول الى حل للمسالة السورية ياتي من تعنت بعض القوى للاعتراف بالهزيمة على ابواب دمشق. وعلى راس هذه القوى تقف العربية السعودية.
فالعربية السعودية والتي استثمرت كافة طاقاتها من اجل تدمير النظام السوري, والذي يقف العثرة الاخيرة امام تسيد السعودية لزعامة المنطقة وحجر العثرة الاخير امام استسلام المنطقة بشكل كامل للكيان الغاصب, تدرك ان الاعتراف بالهزيمة سيكون له اثر مدمر على سمعتها ومكانتها الاقليمية. ولذلك فهي ماضية في قيادة الازمة الى النهاية وبكل الاساليب والطرق.
ولا نخفي سرا ان قلنا ان الادارة الامريكية ابدت مرونة في اكثر من مرحلة خلال الازمة, لتواجه بتعنت سعودي ومحاولات ناجحة لتفجير المرونة والعودة الى المربع الاول دون تحقيق اي تقدم. ومنها معارضة السعودية لعقد جنيف 2 ثم رشوة فرنسا وبريطانيا بصفقات سلاح ضخمة لمنع حضور ايران وحلفاء سوريا للمؤتمر والعمل على تفجير المؤتمر قبل انعقاده.
ولذلك اعتقد جازما ان التطورات الاخيرة في المنطقة جاءت من اجل اقناع السعودية للتنازل وقبول حلول وسط لتسوية الازمات في المنطقة. فطلبت الادارة الامريكية من داعش التمدد السريع للعراق من اجل تضخيم قوة وبطش التنظيم. ثم يوجه التنظيم تهديدات مباشرة للسعودية وحلفائها في الاردن بالاجتياح ومصير كمصير العراق وسوريا. والهجوم على لبنان كان من اجل تجريد حلفاء (او دمى) السعودية المستقبليين من قاعدتهم الشعبية لصالح داعش واخواتها لزيادة ارعاب السعودية بفقدانها لادواتها (او حلفاءها حسب التسمية الرسمية) وانكشاف ظهرها اللبناني.
ويبدو ان اعادة اللعبة التشرينية ستاتي اكلها. فالسعودية وافقت على الالتقاء بالايرانيين للتعاون بشان مكافحة داعش والتطرف وكان اللقاء ايجابيا حسب جميع المصادر. كما انها (اي السعودية) لم تقف بوجه التدخل الايراني والمليشيات "الشيعية" في المناطق "السنية" في العراق. كما ان حلفائها في لبنان انزلوا سقف مطالبهم كثيرا وهم مستعدون للتعاون ضد داعش واخواتها. كما ان السعودية دعت وعلى عجل مجموعة ما يسمى باصدقاء سوريا في الجامعة العربية لاجتماع عاجل دون دعوة المعارضة السورية او مطالب عالية بضرورة تنحي الرئيس الاسد او دعم عسكري للمعارضة المعتدلة (والتي اصبحت في خبر كان).
نعم هناك ضجيج عال في كل عواصم الشرق الاوسط ان داعش ستجتاح الاردن ولبنان والسعودية والكويت وتعيث فيها قتلا وذبحا وتدميرا للانظمة. ونعم هناك استنفار عال في كل هذه العواصم. ولكنني اتوقع ان كل هذا هو جزء من اللعبة الامريكية لاقناع السعودية وحلفائها من صقور المنطقة (اردوغان مثلا) على طريقة حرب تشرين التحريكية من اجل تامين سلالم لهذه الدول للنزول من على الاشجار العالية التي ارتقوها خلال الازمة.
الهزائم المتلاحقة لداعش في العراق وطردها في اقل من اسبوع من اكثر من نصف المناطق التي احتلتها خلال الاسابيع الماضية هو مؤشر على اكثر من حقيقة. فداعش قوة ليست خارقة لا يمكن هزيمتها. وبالتالي فان تهديد داعش باحتلال السعودية والاردن ولبنان والكويت وتركيا شيء لا يمكن تحقيق ولو جزء منه دون الضوء الاخضر الامريكي (غير الموجود اصلا).
يرى البعض ان تضخيم قوة داعش هو من اجل تقوية النفوذ الامريكي في المنطقة واعادة هذا النفوذ الذي خرج بالقوة من العراق ليعود اليها من شباك داعش. فحرب داعش ستؤدي (كما يقول البعض) الى انشاء قواعد امريكية ثابتة في المنطقة لاكمال حصار الحلف السوري-الروسي-الايراني.
ولكن هذا المنطق لا ياخذ بعين الاعتبار ان النفوذ الامريكي لم يتقلص يوما وهو موجود بقوة حتى داخل الجيش العراقي وفي الاحزاب الموجودة. كما ان لامريكا قواعد ثابته في كل المنطقة من كردستان الى تركيا مرورا بالاردن والسعودية والكويت والامارات وسلطنة عمان. اضافة لحاملات الطائرات المرابطة في الموانئ الخليجية.
ولا نشك ان لدى محور المقاومة معلومات استخباراتية عن خطط لتفجير المنطقة ومعلومات عن تنقل الاف الارهابيين بين الدول. ولكني اعتقد ان كل هذا هو جزء من عملية الخداع الكبرى التي تقودها امريكا, ومن ضمنها تمثيليات ذبح الصحفيين الامريكيين, لايهام العالم (وخصوصا السعودية) بقوة داعش وجبروته.
كان لزاما على الراعي الامريكي ان يثبت لجولدا مائير وحكومتها ان هناك دواع قوية لقبول تنازلات مع جارتها الكبرى, فجاءت بخدعة حرب تشرين المصرية والتي شكلت هاجسا لدى الاسرائيلي بامكانية زوال الكيان ان لم يقدم تنازلات. واليوم هناك داع لاقناع السعودية بضرورة التوافق مع الدول الاقليمية الكبرى, لان استمرار الازمة سيقوي داعش التي قد تشكل امكانية زوال كيان المملكة.

الجليل ... معركة التحول: هل قرر محور المقاومة انهاء العنف التكفيري بانهاء اسباب تفشيه
توقيت بث قناة الميادين الفضائية للوثائقي "الجليل .... معركة التحول" هو قرار "غير بريء", سيقرا في اكثر من عاصمة بكثير من التمعن والاهتمام. فالقناة والتي اتهمت اكثر من مرة انها قناة ناطقة باسم محور المقاومة, لا تخفي ان لها توجهات مقاومة وعلاقات وثيقة بصانعي القرار في دمشق وطهران. ووثائقي تنتجه القناة وتبثه في هذا الوقت, لا يمكن ان تمر اهميته مرور الكرام لدى عواصم النفوذ في رسم وتنفيذ المؤامرة على محور المقاومة
في البداية فانني اعترف انني لم اكن اتوقع ان تستمر الازمة السورية لكل هذا الوقت وان تتطور الى المستوى الذي وصلت اليه. كنت اعتقد ان النظام محصن ضد مصير كمصير بن علي في تونس او مبارك في مصر, لاكثر من سبب اثبتت الاحداث انها صحيحة. بل انني استطيع الادعاء وبكل ثقة ان قوى اقليمية كبرى اعتقدت نفس الاعتقاد وتحضرت لنفس السيناريو
ما توقعته ومنذ بداية الازمة هو ان لا يتجاوب المجتمع السوري للحراك المدمر. وبعد عدة جولات من المحاولات المستميتة الفاشلة لتحريك الجماهير عن طريق استئجار قتلة للهجوم على متظاهرين او مصلين او اغتيال معارضين او خطفهم وفبركة افلام واخبار عن مسؤولية النظام عن هذه التعديات, سيتراجع المخططون للمؤامرة عن مخططهم وتهدا الاوضاع. تماما كما حصل في الجزائر والاردن والسودان
وفي مقال لي نشر في اكثر من صحيفة اغترابية في مطلع شباط/فبراير 2012 تحت عنوان "تطورات الازمة السورية: تدويل... لا تدويل", خلصت الى ان المؤامرة على سوريا ستفشل. كما خلصت الى ان الازمة لن يتم تدويلها على غرار الازمة الليبية التي اطاحت بالقذافي بقوة الناتو لاكثر من سبب اهمها:
1-الحلفاء الاقوياء لسوريا ورفضهم الانصياع للتهديدات والاغراءات من اجل التخلي عن دمشق
2-خوف الدول المتامرة من لجوء دمشق وحلفائها لقصف اسرائيل وتدميرها ان تم هجوم على دمشق خارج مجلس الامن
بالرغم من تحقق توقعاتي بشان عدم سقوط النظام لعدم وجود حاضنة شعبية للارهاب في سوريا وبسبب مواقف النظام المعادية لاسرائيل. وبرغم تحقق توقعاتي بعدم تخلي حلفاء دمشق عنها. كما تحققت توقعاتي بعدم تدويل الازمة وتحت البند السابع وعدم تجرؤ واشنطن وحلفائها لتوجيه ضربات لدمشق دون تفويض من مجلس الامن الدولي. الا ان توقعاتي بعدم اطالة الازمة وتطورها الى اعمال عنف واسعة لم تتحق لان محور قيادة الازمة انزلق الى تكتيكات واستراتيجيات تتجاوز الخطوط الحمراء في العلاقات الدولية, لم تتجاوزها اي دولة عظمى منذ انتهاء الحرب العالمية الثانية
كنت في تحليلاتي اعتقد ان لدى الادارة الامريكية وحلفائها خبراء متزنون براغماتيون سيدركون مخاطر اي خطوات متهورة, خارقة للخطوط الحمراء. وكان هذا هو خطئي الكبير. كان الروسي والصيني معتقد ذلك ايضا. ولذلك فقد ابدى الكثير من المرونة والصبر. وطالب دمشق بالصبر والتعاون, عل وعسى ان يبدد هذا التعاون كل مبررات دعم العنف والارهاب في سوريا. ولذلك فقد حثت موسكو القيادة السورية على قبول بعثة المراقبين العرب ثم المراقبين الدوليين ثم مفتشي الاسلحة الكيماوية. وبالرغم من كل ذلك استمر اصرار الامريكي على متابعة دعم المؤامرة كل هذا الوقت
الامريكي وحلفائه اظهروا استهتارا هائلا بالعلاقات الدولية المرسومة بعد انتهاء الحرب الباردة. كما اظهروا استهتارا تاما بكل المخاطر التي بدات تظهر نتيجة لهذه الممارسات, والتي توجت بظهور داعش وما قامت به من جرائم يندى لها جبين الانسانية. كل هذا مرورا بتدمير اوكرانيا والعراق وليبيا وكل ما تمخض عن ذلك من كوارث. وما زالت نية الامريكي وحلفائه غير واضحة من محاربة داعش واخواتها التكفيرية
عود على وثائقي الميادين والذي خلص في نهايته الى ان ما يسمى بالربيع العربي ما هو الا مؤامرة لانقاذ اسرائيل من مواجهة مصيرها المحتوم بعد ان تلاشت قوة الردع لديها وتعرت ممارساتها اللاخلاقية امام الراي العام العالمي وتمكن قوى المقاومة وعلى راسها حزب الله من تطوير استراتيجيات لهزيمة اي عدوان اسرائيلي لاستعادة الهيبة والردع. فان الاشارات كانت واضحة طوال ال 45 دقيقة ان محور المقاومة يدرك ان تمادي الدول المتامرة على سوريا في كسر كل الخطوط الحمراء لن يوقفه الا هجوم معاكس على سبب الازمة: امن اسرائيل
فدول محور المقاومة تدرك انه حتى لو بدات الدول المتامرة في وقف دعمها للارهاب, الا ان القوى التكفيرية لديها من الموارد البشرية والمالية ما يؤهلها للاستمرار في استنزاف دول محور المقاومة لمدة طويلة قد تعطي المبررات للدول المتامرة لفرض تقسيم جديد للشرق الاوسط على اساس طائفي لادارة العنف الطائفي وتخفيضه الى اقل المستويات (وقتيا). ودول محور المقاومة تدرك ان اي تقسيم طائفي لدول المنطقة لن يصب الا في مصلحة اسرائيل والتي ستحظى ضمن هذا التقسيم باعتراف بحقها في الوجود على اساس يهوديتها. كما ان التناقضات الكبرى الطائفية ستدخل الدول الجديدة في دوامة لا تنتهي من العنف والحروب, ستجد بعض هذه الدول في اسرائيل حليفا ضد اعدائها من دول الطوائف الاخرى
ويبدو من المعلومات الراشحة من عواصم محور المقاومة وداعميها وكان واضحا في ثنايا وثائقي الميادين بان هذا المحور توصل لقناعة ان احباط هذا المخطط الجهنمي يستوجب ضرب اسباب هذه المؤامرة: اي انهاء ظاهرة اسرائيل بالكامل
بالرغم من ان هذا التصور قد يبدو مستحيلا, ولهذا فقد عرضت الميادين وبالتفصيل لخطط الهجوم على اسرائيل وبالبدء بمعركة تدميرها. بل وقامت الميادين بتاكيد معلومات كانت متداولة دون تاكيد بان حزب الله كان قد درب 5000 مقاتل تحضيرا لزجهم بمعركة تحرير فلسطين عن طريق السيطرة على الجليل واتخاذه منطلقا لحملة انهاء حياة الكيان الغاصب. وبذلك تكون الميادين ولاسباب مهمة قد كشفت (او اكدت) اسرارا لم يعلن عنها حزب الله من قبل
تعالت اصوات الكثيرين من الخبراء السياسيين المؤيدين لمحور المقاومة ومنذ تطور الازمة السورية وبداية انزلاقها نحو ارهاب مكشوف منذ منتصف عام 2012 مطالبين محور المقاومة باتباع سياسة "الهجوم افضل وسيلة للدفاع". بل وذهب اليعض (وانا منهم) الى حد التصريح بانه "لن يتوقف شلال الدم السوري الا اذا اغرقت الرياض والدوحة بالدماء". ويبدو ومن كل المعلومات الواردة من دول محور المقاومة ان هذا المحور يتجه (وبدعم شامل من الحليف الروسي-الصيني) لاتخاذ هكذا خطوات
وما الزيارة المفاجئة والتي رتبت على عجل لنائب وزير الخارجية الايراني حسين امير عبد اللاهيان الى السعودية في اعقاب كشف طهران ان طائرة التجسس الاسرائيلية التي اسقطتها الدفاعات الجوية الايرانية كانت قد انطلقت من السعودية الا مقدمة لبدء الهجوم المعاكس لمحور المقاومة. بل ان التصريحات الايرانية المرافقة للزيارة اكدت ان عبد اللاهيان ذهب الى السعودية لتسليم المسؤولين السعوديين تحذيرا اخيرا ضد التامر على ايران
اعتقد ان الظروف الدولية مواتية لمحور المقاومة للبدء بالهجوم المعاكس. فالمؤامرة على سوريا والتي صورت بانها ثورة شعبية, تكشفت الان على اكبر كارثة منذ الحرب العالمية الثانية. ومن كان على عينيه غشاوة لما كان يحاك لسوريا, اصبح يشعر بالخجل والقرف من نفسه بعد ان شاهد "الثوار في سوريا" يقطعون الرؤوس ويغتصبون النساء ويبيعونهن في سوق النخاسة. كما ان روسيا والتي كانت تراهن على صوت عاقل في الغرب للبدء بعمل جدي لاحتواء الكارثة الانسانية التي تسبب بها الغرب تحت مسمى "الربيع العربي", بدات الان بفقدان اي امل من هكذا صوت بعد لجوء الغرب للاستمرار في نشر التطرف والدمار ونقله حتى لقلب اوروبا (اوكرانيا)
يبدو من وثائقي الميادين ان المعركة الشاملة قد اقتربت. والجميع يدرك ان كل هذا الدمار في المنطقة والعالم اتى لحماية امن اسرائيل ومنع انهيارها من الداخل, بعد انهيار قدرتها الردعية وتلاشي هيبة جيشها الذي كان الى يوم قريب "جيشا لا يقهر"
وفي مقابلة حديثة مع صحيفة السفير, يصرح السيد حسن نصرالله ان جيله سيشهد نهاية دولة اسرائيل
فهل اقتربت نهاية اسرائيل الى هذا الحد؟

الوضع في الشرق الاوسط: نحو انفجار شامل ام انهاء لداعش واخواتها
جاء خطاب السيد حسن نصرالله, الامين العام لحزب الله, في الذكرى السنوية للانتصارعلى العدوان الاسرائيلي على لبنان عام 2006 بلغة صريحة ولكنها صادمة للكثيرين
فالسيد تحدث عن تحد وجودي للانظمة العربية ونسيج مجتمعاتها على يد الفكر التكفيري والحركات المنبثقة عنه, وخصوصا داعش. ويبدو ان الحزب وحلفائه لديهم معلومات عن خطط كبرى لتفجير المنطقة بشكل كامل على يد التكفيريين, اصرارا على تحقيق مشروع الشرق الاوسط الجديد ليحل مكان النظام الذي رسمته معاهدة سايكس-بيكو في مطلع القرن الماضي
الا ان القارئ جيدا لمضمون الخطاب يلاحظ ان السيد لم يذهب بالقطع الى ان السيناريو الوحيد المطروح هو التفجير الكامل للمنطقة وخلط الاوراق بشكل خطر قد يصعب على الجميع التكهن بنتائجه. ففي خطابه شدد السيد نصر الله ان الخطر الوجودي قادم لا محالة الا اذا اتفق الفرقاء (من كلا المعسكرين المتعاديين) على العمل على تلافي الذهاب الى المجهول بتسليم المنطقة لمغامرة يستخدم التكفيريون كقوة حسم تدميرية لا يمكن الركون الى نتائجها
اذا فالسيد وحزبه وحلفائه لديهم معلومات عن اموال انفقت بالمليارات لتسمين داعش واخواتها التكفيرية انتظارا لساعة الصفر. ولكن السيد وضع من يملك اعطاء ساعة الصفر في وضع التحذير: اننا نعرف مخططكم وجاهزون للتعامل معه والعمل على افشاله مهما كانت التكلفة. واذا لم يكن بد من الذهاب في الصراع الى اخره, فان محور المقاومة لن يتردد في الدخول الى هذا الصراع بكل ما يملك من قوة
في التحليل لكل ذلك, فانني ارى ان الامريكي المالك لاعطاء الامر بانطلاق ساعة الصفر لديه خياران الان وبعد 4 سنوات من بدء المؤامرة
فاما ان يعطي ساعة الصفر قريبا ويتحمل كل التبعات التي قد تتمخض عنها. او ان يتراجع ويعمل مع باقي الافرقاء (حلفاءا واعداءا على حد سواء) لانهاء الظاهرة التكفيرية المدمرة وكل تداعياتها
قبل ان نرجح اي خيار هو الاكثر احتمالا, دعوني اذكر بعض الحقائق في عجالة
الادارة الامريكية والتي تفتقت قريحتها على لعبة الربيع العربي كاداة لاعادة رسم المنطقة على اساس تقسيم المقسم وتجزيء المجزء, ادركت ومنذ مطلع هذا العام ان هذا المخطط فشل على ابواب دمشق. كما ان الادارة تدرك ان حلفاء دمشق في موسكو وبكين وطهران والضاحية الجنوبية لن يسمحوا بتدمير النظام السوري مهما كلف الامر. والادارة الامريكية تدرك ان تفتيت المنطقة دون تفتيت سوريا سياتي بكارثة على مشروع الشرق الاوسط الجديد والمحاولات الحثيثة لانقاذ اسرائيل من ازمتها الوجودية
الادارة الامريكية والتي كانت على ابواب النجاح في تفتيت مصر, بعد ان نجحت جزئيا في تفتيت العراق, تدرك ان هذا النجاح سيعتبر كارثة على مخططاتها اذا فشلت في تفتيت سوريا. فبمصر والعراق مفتتين, تصبح سوريا اكبر دول المنطقة واغناها بشريا واقتصاديا واقواها عسكريا. وبذلك تكون الادارة الامريكية قد حققت دون قصد هدفا يسعى له محور المقاومة منذ عقود بتقوية هذا المحور والقضاء على اي منافس اقليمي قد يعارض اي مخططات اقليمية مستقبلية لهذا المحور
والادارة الامريكية تدرك انها قد زجت وخلال الاعوام الاربع الماضية بكل ما تملك من اوراق لتحطيم النظام السوري لتحقيق تفتيت سوريا, دون اي نجاح. ولذلك فان اعطاء ساعة الصفر للمجاميع الارهابية لاشعال النار في كل المنطقة لن يضيف جديدا في السعي لتحطيم سوريا وتفتيتها. كل ما سيحققه هذا الاشعال هو تهديد انظمة صديقة لامريكا واسرائيل ومعادية لمحور المقاومة وادخال هذه الانظمة في تحديات وجودية تحقق في النهاية النتيجة التي ذهبت اليها انفا من تقوية سوريا ومحورها وتربعه على قيادة المنطقة
كما ان هذا الاشعال الجنوني دون تحقيق نتيجة حاسمة باقامة دولة ظلامية تكفيرية سيقنع الكثير من التكفيريين الغربيين بالعودة الى دولهم والانتقام من تلك الدول التي وعدتهم بالدعم وتخلت عنهم (للانتقام يعني)
ولذلك فانني ارجح منطقيا ان الادارة الامريكية ستلجا للتعاون مع كل الحلفاء والاعداء من اجل اطفاء النار
طبعا قد يقول احدهم ان كل الدلائل تشير الى عكس هذا الاحتمال, بعد تمدد داعش المفاجئ والكبير في العراق وتنشيط العمليات الارهابية في سوريا (اعلان معركة احتلال المطار, الهجوم على الفرقة 17 واللواء 93 في الرقة, وحملة تاديب القبائل في دير الزور كامثلة)
برايي هذه الامثلة هو مؤشر اخر على ان الادارة الامريكية ستعمل على اطفاء الحريق التكفيري, ولكن بطريقة فنية تجنبها خسائر كبيرة
فالادارة الامريكية يهمها ان لا يعود الكثير من التكفيريين الغربيين الى بلدانهم سالمين, حرصا على امن هذه الدول. وهذا لن يتحقق الا بفتح جبهات متجددة لابقاء امل التكفيريين بامكانية اقامة دولة من جهة وبالتالي عدم ياسهم وعودتهم المبكرة الى بلدانهم. ومن جهة اخرى لجر اطراف وقوى اضافية لمعركة قتل هؤلاء التكفيريين (عراقيين واكراد واردنيين وكويتيين وحتى سعوديين)
كما ان الادارة يهمها تهشيم وتدمير اقصى ما يمكن تدميره في هذه المنطقة, لابقاء جذور الانقسام والشعور بالغبن والحاجة للثار والانتقام عل وعسى يمكن استخدام ذلك في مغامرات دموية مستقبلية
كما يهم الادارة اطفاء الحريق بعد ان تترك بصمات المنقذ لهذه المنطقة لضمان الاستمرار في اقامة علاقات عسكرية واقتصادية مع المنطقة وشعوبها
مما يؤكد لنا ان الادارة الامريكية وحلفائها يمهدون للعمل على انهاء الوحش التكفيري هو الاعتراف المتزايد للدول الغربية بالخطر التكفيري على بلدانهم والعمل على محاربة هذه المجموعات ومنعها من ارسال افرادها للمنطقة. فاستراليا بدات باعتقال مسهلي ارسال الارهابيين التكفيريين الى سوريا. كما بدات بمنع سفر المتطرفين الى منطقة الشرق الوسط فالغت جوازات سفر العشرات وانزلت بعضهم من الطائرات قبل مغادرتهم استراليا. كما اغلقت حسابات متطرفين وجمعياتهم على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي, والتي تعتبر المصدر الاكبر لغسيل دماغ الشباب والتغرير بهم لارسالهم الى سوريا للقتال هناك. هذه الخطوات التي بدا باتخاذها منذ مطلع هذا العام فقط
كما يتوقع ان تبدا الحكومة بسن قوانين صارمة لمكافحة الارهاب والتطرف, تشمل تجريم التعاطف مع الحركات الارهابية وتمويلها
كما ان حلفاء الادارة في المنطقة بداوا الحديث علانية على الخطر التكفيري على انظمتهم. فارسل سعد الحريري الى لبنان لتوزيع هبات سعودية قد تشتري متطرفين شقوا عصا الطاعة. والاردن يعلن تعبئة شاملة على كل المستويات بعد تنامي التطرف في المملكة وحولها. وكذلك فعلت السعودية والكويت والامارات التي اعلنت حظرا على المجموعات المتطرفة واستنفرت جميع اجهزتها
في تقديري المتواضع فان الادارة الامريكية وخلال الاشهر القليلة القادمة ستكون قد استكملت تحقيق الاهداف المعلنة اعلاه وستبدا بالتعاون من اجل نزع فتيل الحريق التكفيري المدمر. مع ادراكنا ان الادارة الامريكية غير مستعجلة بتحقيق ذلك. الا ان الاضرار على مصالحها كلما تاخرت في تحقيق ذلك الاطفاء قد يرغمها على الاستعجال. فالراي العام الامريكي والغربي ضاغط على الادارة بعد ان شاهد مواطنو هذه الدول الفظاعات التي ارتكبتها هذه المجموعات. يضاف اليها الشعور المخجل لهذه الشعوب بعد انفضاح المعلومات عن الدعم الغربي لهذه الحركات الظلامية
ندرك ان الاشهر القليلة القادمة ستكون قاسية. ولكننا نامل ان تكون الادارة الامريكية قد غلبت براغماتيتها على الدخول في مغامرات مصيرها بات متوقع

Open letter to Tony Abbott: Consulting extremists will not help anti-radicalisation
Dear Hon Tony Abbott, our PM
As a Muslim community leader and long time campaigner against radicalisation of Muslim Community.
As a victim of radical Islam because of my anti-extremism views and activities.
As a long time social justice campaigner.
I am appalled with your government’s invitation of radical groups and “leaders” to consult them of your government’s new initiative to combat radicalisation in our society. I must mention first that this condemnation does not mean that I support these initiatives or the new measures to fight “terrorism”.
I found it very shocking to learn that you had met and planning another meeting with Muslim community “leaders” for many reasons. I will mention just two of them.
Firstly, I and other community members (both active and non-active) are questioning the scientific method/s your government followed to classify people of being “leaders” and others to be non-leaders. From the list of names I read in our media, we note that some of the invited persons have no leadership charisma nor has any followers. Your arbitrary decision to consider these as “leaders” will serve no good target.
Secondly, the list of names we are aware of includes names of extremists who very active in spreading extremism for the last decades.
As we understand that the current round of consultation which has an object to pave the way for new round of Anti-terrorism laws came to deal with the fear in our society of devastating impacts of Australian terrorists’ participation in Syrian conflict. To this point we find it to be very sad that your government is still keen to hear the voice of the “leaders” that were behind the radicalisation of our youth and their consequent participation in terrorist activities in Syria.
Some of the names mentioned in the media of people invited to this consultation round were very active in brainwashing our youth and encouraging them to travel to Syria to fight.
On this instance, we wonder why our organisation was not invited to participate in this round. Our organisation that was on the front line to fight against extremism, sectarian hate and sectarian violence conducted systemically by takfiri groups and their supporters for the last 3 years. Such fight that gained us a wealth of knowledge and expertise about extremism in our society and ways to combat them.
We understand that we disagree with you and your government on almost every political issue, but at least you could hear from us the needs of community members we represent or share thoughts and ideology.
In this letter, I (on behalf of many Australians opposing terrorism both in Syria and in Australia) consider your latest move to invite extremists leaders and/or opportunists who represent no one to be no more than a media stunt in your bid to win you friends to introduce new “anti-terrorism” legislations. Such move that will not win you any support.
Your government’s bid to win extremists’ support will end you up with no support at all. You will not win extremists’ support, as they consider democracy to be a sin that should be destroyed. And I wonder how these extremists will advice you or agree with you on measures that will virtually target them, and their followers....!!!
And on the other hand it will not win you anti-extremists voices you never consulted and never cooperated with to fight the extremists.
We note here that your government’s lack of action for the last year was part of reasons why extremism has flourished in our suburbs. Such lack of actions that was interpreted by extremists to be a green-light for their extremism (and terrorism at some stage). Of course this inaction against extremism that you inherited from previous Labor-Greens government.
At the end of this letter I need to mention that I do not believe that we need more Anti-terrorism laws in this democratic nation. We have enough laws to deal with terrorism. All what our nation needs is a political “Will” to start cracking down on terrorists.
We believe that lacking this political will could have devastating effect, especially if it continues until the majority of our terrorists come back from Syria, Iraq and Libya.

Open letter to SBS: your coverage on Syrian crisis is disgusting and biased
Dear SBS executives and journalists
For the last 4 years, we were watching your news coverage about Syrian crisis and related issues with deep disappointment. I wrote to you on several occasions trying to point out some misleading facts that you were trying to twist. At different occasions I received unconvincing replies. But I think that the time has arrived for you to start admitting your mistakes (mainly deliberate mistakes). I also think that the time has arrived for you to change your attitude and coverage.
Few days ago, you tried to convince us that Keysar Trad is a peace-dove when it comes to Syrian crisis and the terrorism resulted from the so-called Syrian revolution. He was given enough time to air his lies and deceptions and talk about the threats he received by ISIS member.
Today, we were enforced to watch your news piece about threats against another extremist, Dr Jamal Rifi. Similar to Trad, Jamal Rifi was allowed to air his deceptive claims that he is “moderate” and this is why he was threatened by the same Australian terrorist, Mohamed El Omer. Not only this. You have also allowed the so-called Mufti to appear on your TV to tell us that without his “efforts”, thousands of Australian terrorists would have travelled to fight in Syria and Iraq.
I am writing here to express to you that enough is enough.
I firstly want to express to you that I was deeply offended by your coverage for the last 4 years, especially the coverage of events in the last month.
When ISIS members threaten people like Rifi and Keysar, this does not necessarily mean they are opposing the extreme inhumane destructive ideology of ISIS. Let us remember here that ISIS and other terrorist organisations (Like Jabhat Al Nusra and other offshoots of AL Qaeda in Syria) were killing each other for the last few months. Such fight is not a result of disagreement on extremist ideological basis, but rather on the basis of who should lead and make rules.
I remember when your TV station and radio programs were active from the first days of the crisis in Syria to spread deception and lies. At some stage, your fabricated news items were criticised by Media Watch. But this did not stop your organisation from departing from its policy of supporting terrorism in that country.
But we believe that results should be the clear guide for you to reassess your policy on this issue. And the result is very clear.
From the beginning of the Syrian crisis, your organisation insisted that what was happening there was a “peaceful revolution against dictatorship”. After 4 years, we discovered now and beyond any doubt the true nature of the Syrian “revolution”.
I will not try to convince you about the true nature of this “revolution”. But let me mention some facts in regard to your coverage of this issue and other issues resulted from Syrian “revolution”:
1- Your organisation adopted from the first day of the crisis the story of one side, and never showed the opinion of the other side. This is clear violation to your own guidelines about reporting on issues.
2- Your organisation in its biased and unprofessional coverage ignored large section of Australian society of Middle Eastern background. This includes myself, who was never contacted for comment, despite my deep understanding of the issue which has landed me in dangerous waters for the last 3 years. So much that I have received death threats and have been physically assaulted on camera while featuring in channel 7 Today Tonight program back in May 2013. Following this public attack, many major media outlets sought my comments about what happened. The majority of media outlets are on regular contact with me, even before this attack.
3- Your organisation’s refusal to send any journalist to Syria to report first hand on the issue, despite the fact that you sent or contracted different journalists to contact rebels (mainly terrorists) and gain access to rebel-controlled areas and reported from there. Such reports were very biased and unprofessional.
4- I find it deeply worrying for you to allow people like Keysar Trad and Jamal Rifi to vend deceptions live on your TV and radio programs. Your journalists could have researched these 2 people to discover that they were some of the main voices to radicalise and brainwash our youth and encourage them to fight in Syria. Both were very active to collect millions of $s to finance “rebel” activities.
5- Your organisation failed to report on the serious attacks on community members, who were subjected to physical and verbal attacks. Some of these people were shot, physically attacked, their businesses torched and their homes bombed with Molotov cocktails. You choose not to report on these serious attacks because the people attacked were opponents of Syrian “revolution”. While you were quick to report widely on one threat by a person who will never return to Australia (which makes his threat no more than a joke) against these 2 persons, who at some stage just as extreme if not more, than the actual terrorist.
6- Your organisation was quick to attack me, for example, for my visit to Damascus last December when I met with Syrian elected President, without allowing me the right to defend myself. Your organisation, on the other hand, reported and supported the visits of extremists to Syria. Such extremists were pictured with rifles in their hands, some of them visited Jabhat Al Nusra’s weapon factories and some of them accompanied Jabhat AL Nusra with their military actions against Syrian army. You allowed these extremists to not only defend themselves, but you portrayed them as heroes who were helping Syrians. While my visit to Syria was portrayed in your TV as the biggest crime any Australian could commit.
In this letter, I would like to mention to you that you have lost all credibility on all major issues. Your biased unprofessional reporting on Syria (and lately on Palestine) made your organisation less professional and even more biased than Murdoch’s press.
Lastly, I would like to mention too, that your biased unprofessional reporting in Syria helped a lot in radicalising the 150 Australians and encouraged them to travel to fight in Syria. Your shameful reporting on Syria made you partner in crime with the terrorist, by sending the wrong message on what is really happening in Syria. You should feel ashamed for this.
We hope that you will take some of these facts into account to reconsider the way you report on this issue. And we hope that you will end your partnership with terrorists.
For the last 4 years, we were watching your news coverage about Syrian crisis and related issues with deep disappointment. I wrote to you on several occasions trying to point out some misleading facts that you were trying to twist. At different occasions I received unconvincing replies. But I think that the time has arrived for you to start admitting your mistakes (mainly deliberate mistakes). I also think that the time has arrived for you to change your attitude and coverage.
Few days ago, you tried to convince us that Keysar Trad is a peace-dove when it comes to Syrian crisis and the terrorism resulted from the so-called Syrian revolution. He was given enough time to air his lies and deceptions and talk about the threats he received by ISIS member.
Today, we were enforced to watch your news piece about threats against another extremist, Dr Jamal Rifi. Similar to Trad, Jamal Rifi was allowed to air his deceptive claims that he is “moderate” and this is why he was threatened by the same Australian terrorist, Mohamed El Omer. Not only this. You have also allowed the so-called Mufti to appear on your TV to tell us that without his “efforts”, thousands of Australian terrorists would have travelled to fight in Syria and Iraq.
I am writing here to express to you that enough is enough.
I firstly want to express to you that I was deeply offended by your coverage for the last 4 years, especially the coverage of events in the last month.
When ISIS members threaten people like Rifi and Keysar, this does not necessarily mean they are opposing the extreme inhumane destructive ideology of ISIS. Let us remember here that ISIS and other terrorist organisations (Like Jabhat Al Nusra and other offshoots of AL Qaeda in Syria) were killing each other for the last few months. Such fight is not a result of disagreement on extremist ideological basis, but rather on the basis of who should lead and make rules.
I remember when your TV station and radio programs were active from the first days of the crisis in Syria to spread deception and lies. At some stage, your fabricated news items were criticised by Media Watch. But this did not stop your organisation from departing from its policy of supporting terrorism in that country.
But we believe that results should be the clear guide for you to reassess your policy on this issue. And the result is very clear.
From the beginning of the Syrian crisis, your organisation insisted that what was happening there was a “peaceful revolution against dictatorship”. After 4 years, we discovered now and beyond any doubt the true nature of the Syrian “revolution”.
I will not try to convince you about the true nature of this “revolution”. But let me mention some facts in regard to your coverage of this issue and other issues resulted from Syrian “revolution”:
1- Your organisation adopted from the first day of the crisis the story of one side, and never showed the opinion of the other side. This is clear violation to your own guidelines about reporting on issues.
2- Your organisation in its biased and unprofessional coverage ignored large section of Australian society of Middle Eastern background. This includes myself, who was never contacted for comment, despite my deep understanding of the issue which has landed me in dangerous waters for the last 3 years. So much that I have received death threats and have been physically assaulted on camera while featuring in channel 7 Today Tonight program back in May 2013. Following this public attack, many major media outlets sought my comments about what happened. The majority of media outlets are on regular contact with me, even before this attack.
3- Your organisation’s refusal to send any journalist to Syria to report first hand on the issue, despite the fact that you sent or contracted different journalists to contact rebels (mainly terrorists) and gain access to rebel-controlled areas and reported from there. Such reports were very biased and unprofessional.
4- I find it deeply worrying for you to allow people like Keysar Trad and Jamal Rifi to vend deceptions live on your TV and radio programs. Your journalists could have researched these 2 people to discover that they were some of the main voices to radicalise and brainwash our youth and encourage them to fight in Syria. Both were very active to collect millions of $s to finance “rebel” activities.
5- Your organisation failed to report on the serious attacks on community members, who were subjected to physical and verbal attacks. Some of these people were shot, physically attacked, their businesses torched and their homes bombed with Molotov cocktails. You choose not to report on these serious attacks because the people attacked were opponents of Syrian “revolution”. While you were quick to report widely on one threat by a person who will never return to Australia (which makes his threat no more than a joke) against these 2 persons, who at some stage just as extreme if not more, than the actual terrorist.
